An authentic Welsh bar and restaurant. They serve lovely hearty meals in a comfortable and homely environment. I dined here on the first night I moved to Llanuwchllyn and it has been my main food spot ever since. This restaurant also functions as a village shop which is handy for locals. When I am running low and not particularly looking to go into town I come here to pick up groceries, toiletries and cleaning essentials.

The Eagles Inn
An authentic Welsh bar and restaurant. They serve lovely hearty meals in a comfortable and homely environment. It is a blessing to live in Southern Snowdonia where stunning views are only a walking distance away. When I lived in London I often engaged in solo rural retreats and walking and expeditions so it is amazing to be near this national park

A beautiful long sandy beach located on the west coast of Snowdonia. Barmouth beach is the perfect place for seaside holidays, walking trips or outdoor getaways at any time of the year. The beach is a 30 minute drive from Llanuwchllyn.

This is a lovely visitor and education centre that provides interactive displays, videos and visits on the story of Mary Jones Story - a young girl who walked 26 miles to purchase her first copy of the Welsh bible. This historical event inspired the foundation of The British & Foreign Bible Society. Llanuwchllyn also forms part of the route for the famous Mary Jones Walk.
