Accommodation is in a spacious Victorian house, built in 1870. It is part of a courtyard with a deli, smokehouse and award-winning seafood restaurant. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors.
The house is self contained with own entrance and garden, while being attached to the old farmhouse which is occupied by the owner. In the courtyard there is a farm shop where you can find fresh fish (locally caught by Bernard), seafood, smoked fish and other local produce. There is also an acclaimed seafood restaurant "The Catch at Fins". Fencefoot is ideally situated for exploring the Clyde Coast and Islands.

  • Bernard è un uomo molto educato e comprensivo che si prende cura dei suoi ospiti. Offre molto, ma non impone e anche se è accanto, dà ogni privacy immaginabile. I ragazzi nel negozio e nella proprietà sono simpatici e alla mano. L'architettura della casa di Bernard è bellissima. L'interno è ok ed è disponibile tutto il necessario in cucina. La casa è situata su una strada A quindi è piuttosto rumorosa. I dintorni sono molto interessanti e supermercati e traghetti sono facilmente raggiungibili. I suggerimenti raccolti nella cartella di benvenuto non hanno prezzo.

  • Cottage delizioso in buona posizione per visitare la zona locale e traghetti per le isole. Stufa a legna aggiunta all'atmosfera come il piatto di pesce che abbiamo ordinato dal negozio in loco. Le camere erano enormi ei letti erano così comodi. Piumino e cuscini davvero soffici. Ci tornerei sicuramente.

    The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.
    Suitable for a single traveller or a couple.
    The cottage is within easy walking distance to all of the local attractions, 100 yards from the promenade. Shops, bars & restaurants are close by. The local area is busy during the day and quiet at night We like 'Scotts at the Yacht Haven' for alfresco lunches !

    The Anchor Room apartment. Bedroom en-suite. Sole use of living room and large spacious kitchen. Own entrance to REAR HALF OF BUNGALOW. You also have shared use of patio area with bbq and garden. Only 35 minutes drive from both Glasgow International Airport and Preswick Airport. It is a 55 min. journey by train into the center of Glasgow. Please note: we are on the mainland. You need to take the ferry to go to the island of Arran, bute or Cumrae.
    You have key for your own entrance by the rear patio door. The living room with large smart tv sofa bed and dining table. Bedroom with en-suite. Sole use of a fully equipped spacious kitchen. The town center is a 10 minutes walk.
    It is the rear half of a bungalow in a nice quite area with plenty on street parking with no restrictions.

The beach is 5 minutes drive (30 mins walk) from the apartment.
    The apartment has one spacious bedroom with a king sized bed. A fold out bed and travel cot are also available for children if requested in advance. The apartment is suitable for 2 adults and a child. The apartment has an open plan living space with a comfortable seating area, dining area and a well appointed kitchen. Portencross is a hamlet on the edge of West Kilbride which is home to the Iron Age Portencross Castle which is well worth a visit. Seamill and Portencross have stretches of sandy and rocky beaches which are a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes drive from the property. Ayrshire was the birthplace of Robert Burns so West Kilbride is an excellent base to explore Burns Country.

    Cottage is just of the main A78 between Seamill and Largs. Seamill Hydro Hotel,Waterside Hotel,Arran Ferry, Largs Marina, Millport Ferry and Kelburn Country Park are all close by as is West Kilbride Golf course.Burns Country and Culzean Castle approx an hour away.Glasgow city centre 40mins on the train. Bus stop is across the road and Train station is approx a mile away.
    Cottage has ample car parking space to front of property and a large private patio area looking on to country garden where you can see wild rabbits and birds.The patio can be accessed from patio doors in lounge and also from kitchen.
    The main house is next to cottage and the area is very quiet and private. There is a cycle path runs past the cottage which is also used by joggers, walkers and horses.

    Close to Seamill Hydro and The Waterside Hotel. Immaculate modern apartment in the craft town of West Kilbride. Private parking. Sleeps up to 4, (absolute maximum), plus infant in travel cot (superking bed can be separated into two singles, plus small double sofa bed). Handy for Largs and Ardrossan marinas, both 10 min drive. Coastal buses and train station two minutes walk away. Hourly trains to Glasgow and Largs. Close to shops, hair salons, eateries, The Barony, beach & golf course.
    Completely internally refurbished with new kitchen and flooring throughout June/July 2018. Feels like a new flat. In the bedroom a super-king sized bed can be divided into 2 single beds if requested at time of booking. In the living room there is a small double sofa bed. There is also a fold away travel cot for little guests.
    West Kilbride is picturesque craft town with all the local amenities you could need including station, buses, all manner of shops and galleries galore.

    Situated in a quiet residential street with off street parking. This private room is part of a family home. It is comfortable, newly decorated has tea/coffee facilities and freeview TV. WiFi is available. There is a bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath across from the bedroom door. The bedroom door can be locked and you will have your own front door key. West Kilbride is a quiet town with a few local shops and two pubs. It is described as a craft town.
    Private ground floor double room. Freshly decorated. Pet friendly. Downstairs bathroom/wc with bath and shower conveniently situated next to the room. Towels are provided and there is tea/coffee making facilities in the room. WiFi is available and you can find the password next to the TV. Breakfast is not included in the price but the kitchen and all appliances, microwave, electric double oven and hob, fridge freezer are available to use. I can provide a travel cot. The property is home to two inquisitive but friendly small dogs. This is a no smoking home.
    West Kilbride has a selection of independent craft shops. Beautiful countryside , sea views and beaches and is popular with golfers. The Seamill Hydro and The Waterside Hotel are a 5 minute drive away. Prestwick Airport is 25mins away by car and and 1 hr 30mins by train. Glasgow Airport is 35 mins away by car and 1 hr 15 mins by train. The ferry terminal for Arran is a 10 minute drive away. West Kilbride to Glasgow Central by train is 40 mins.

    This light and airy apartment benefits from a new kitchen and shower room. It is on the first floor and from the bay window in the living room you can see the Cumbrae ferry coming in and out of Largs. The flat is in a quiet area but central to all of Largs amenities. It is suitable for visitors to Largs on holiday or business travellers alike.
    The kitchen has a hob, oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The heating is electric and easily controlled in each room (no need for a carbon monoxide detector). The shower room has a brand new Mira shower.
    The apartment is 100m from the shore and all of Largs restaurants and coffee shops are minutes away.

    Ardeer Steading is a 4 bed room converted farm steading situated on 107 acre working farm in Ayrshire, and only half a mile from an open sandy beach. located in a very accessible part of Scotland, its easy to access both the surrounding countryside and coastline of Ayrshire & Arran that includes some of Ayrshires top golf courses, and with Scotlands largest city, Glasgow, being 30 minutes by train from here you are never far from a culture fix and fantastic restaurants of the big city.
    Whether your stay with us is a long one, or just for an overnight stay, we will do our best to ensure that it is enjoyable and memorable. Ardeer Mains Farm is owned and run by my family who have lived and worked the farm for the last 60 years, Ardeer Mains in the early years, has went from being a predominantly a farm holding with a dairy heard, to a mixed farm today and has over the last 15 years also developed tourist accommodation by converting one of the farm buildings in to 4 different properties for renting. The surrounding fields and are still used to grow spring barley, hay and silage, and graze our own cattle, and despite being farm based, you are never too far away from good public transport and road network. We don't spend great amounts of money on advertising because we believe that a good experience is the source of our best recommendations.     Some cities and areas recently have rules covering home sharing, In most places, you must register, get a permit, or obtain a license before you list your property or accept guests, for your peace of mind Ardeer Steading is fully approved to run as a Holiday rental property. Stevenston is a small town in North Ayrshire, Scotland. It is one of the "Three Towns" along with Ardrossan and Saltcoats. The town's main link with Robert Burns is that Mayville House was the birthplace in 1768 of Miss Lesley Baillie. Robert Burns met her in 1792 and described her to a friend as "the most beautiful, most elegant woman in the world". She inspired one or two of his love poems, in which she is described as 'Bonnie Lesley'. A memorial now stands in her memory and is situated between Sinclair Street and Glencairn Street. Ayrshire is described as one of best golf destinations in the world, with nearly 50 courses to choose from including 5 of the UK's top 100 courses and 3 Open Championship venues. The area has easy access to a good road network, allowing guests and visitors based here to visit a great deal more in this part of Scotland on individual day trips. Being only 3.5 miles from the ferry port at Ardrossan, almost everyone will at one time visit the Isle of Arran. An island in the Firth of Clyde and known at " Scotland in miniture " and a great day out can be had on the Island from here. Loch Lomond can be reached in just over an hour, It’s part of The Trossachs National Park. The surrounding highlands area is home to red deer and oak woodlands. On the eastern shore, footpaths and cycle trails criss-cross Ben Lomond mountain. Across the loch sits the ancient Luss village, with its old stone cottages.

    Waterside is light and airy with a stunning view from bay windows overlooking Arran and surrounding islands. 5 mins easy walk into town and far enough away to be quieter during busy times. A great night sleep almost guaranteed as the bedroom is to the back. Millport is a community that welcomes people from all backgrounds, cultures and sexual preferences, you are very welcome here. I'm always open to requests especially for longer bookings. If you see the calendar blocked, try me anyway.

Situated opposite the shared bathroom. We have people return to it many time as they like the peace and quiet of it. Every review we have is a genuine review from a guest we have hosted. This is a 5 star 🌟 apartment full of art and everything we hope you'll need to make you feel comfortable and at a home from home! This comes from Rodrigo and Kristyna who stayed in July 2018 from Prague in our double room (also listed); “Five stars don’t make this place and the hosts any justice. They deserve way more. Amazing hosts, quite responsive and they made us feel like at home, as if we were staying with friends.” The apartment is on a first floor of a block of 4 apartments called "villas” built in, or around, 1877. It really is a beautiful apartment and we get so many returning guests as a result. There is a wide 21 stair staircase to the apartment of with hand rails but the apartment is on one level for guests. As hosts, we have ensure we are significantly cheaper than local B&B and Hotels in the area and are a genuine Airbnb and provide breakfast. We have many guests staying for months at a time (also in our doubles room which is listed separately). Please also be aware we are not in Glasgow so please be sure you are booking correctly. We are around 50 mins by car or train from the city and although many stay here and travel to the city if you want to be in Glasgow itself do not book this room. We don't expect our guests to stay in their rooms! Please note cleaning fee is a genuine one and is used to pay Angel Dust Cleaning Company who clean the apartment and we keep this cost low. We have tried to have a one night v longer fee but Airbnb only allows one price so I hope you understand this. It is essential to us that every guest finds the apartment in mint condition and so all cleaning fees go directly to Angel Dust Cleaning Company in Largs.     Brisbane St is lovely - quiet and friendly and just a minutes walk from the bus stop and about 5-10 minutes walk to town hosting great coffee shops, restaurants and bars (depending on your walking pace!) Everyone in Largs says hello and always happy to chat to visitors! We are less than a minute from the sea front! About a 8 min drive to marina or lovely walk to the marina so ideally placed for those sailing or wanting to celebrate at their amazing restaurant. Largs itself is just beautiful and everyone who comes here loves it! Perfect for cycling and walking and touring around the West of Scotland and if nothing else for just getting that essential time for you! We also have Largs Food Festival annually, which is fantastic (URL HIDDEN) Also we are right next to the Viking Festival that happens annually (URL HIDDEN) Then we have Largs Live with tons of venues of live music annually (URL HIDDEN) Close to Glasgow too - 50 minutes by train or around 1 HR by car. Glasgow Airport is 40 mins away only. 2 hours to Edinburgh and many of our guests come from or to there as a stop at a genuine seaside town.

  • Ero un po 'nervoso quando sono arrivato, come non avevo mai usato una casa Airbnb prima. Sono abituato a vivere da solo e mantenere la mia azienda. Egli era cordiale senza essere invadenti e tutto nella mia camera era come descritto con tocchi extra per farmi sentire i benvenuti. Colin sembrava sapere prima ho chiesto, che cosa avrei bisogno - ed è apparsa con un tavolo computer portatile mentre stavo pensando a come chiedere se avesse uno ho potuto utilizzare. La connessione Wifi era forte in tutti i settori, anche la cucina e tutte le aree comuni immacolata. Gli asciugamani erano davvero morbido e le lenzuola di cotone fresco e cuscini di appoggio. Sono arrivato al mattino presto dopo aver viaggiato tutta la notte e le padroni di casa erano in attesa per me presso la stazione ferroviaria quando sono arrivato e mi ha fatto risolta in subito. Mi hanno fatto sentire i benvenuti e fatto in modo che ho avuto tutte le informazioni di cui avevo bisogno per la città e ristoranti, ecc nelle vicinanze.   • Colin e Richard sono i migliori! Ero un viaggiatore senza speranza di prendere il treno sbagliato i Glasgow, che mi ha fatto finire in Kilwinning molto tempo dopo avrei dovuto essere a Largs. Quando alla fine di arrivare nel villaggio scozzese Colin destra e Richard era lì mi incontro con auto e calore. Mentre la sera è andato su ho notato che stava avendo una febbre. Questo fatto Colin anche notato e preso cura di con coperte, bevande calde e TV. Mi ha dato il miglior trattamento che abbia mai avuto, quando dopo aver preso un raffreddore. In un divano, circondato da arte prelevate e Sweethearted Colin check-in su di me di tanto in tanto. Tutto in Colins e Richards casa è di gusto e ancora si sente molto come a casa. Elegante e caldo.

I was able to use my laptop anywhere in the apartment and receive good wi fi connection.   • Posto, host e strutture brillanti. Mia madre ha trascorso diversi giorni lì. Sicuramente una casa lontano da casa e persone così accomodanti. Niente era troppo disturbo. La camera era arredata con gusto, il letto era molto comodo, e il bagno era molto pulito (e ha un sacco di conchiglie davvero bellissime). Hanno preparato la colazione per noi ogni mattina (cereali e crossiants) e ci hanno dato consigli su dove andare e cosa mangiare. Ci hanno persino dato bottiglie d'acqua e banane per fare le nostre escursioni. Sono incredibilmente gentili, fantastici, e la loro casa è uno dei posti più affascinanti in cui sono stato (

There is an open plan living space with seating area, dining area, a well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Saltcoats has excellent transport links & is a perfect base to explore the west of Scotland. There are 2 train stations under a mile from the apartment. Ideally located to explore Scotland’s finest golf courses.
    The apartment has two spacious bedrooms. One with a king sized bed and one with a double and single bed. A travel cot is also available for children if requested in advance. The apartment is suitable for 5 adults/children and a baby. The apartment has an open plan living room with a comfortable seating area, freeview television and dining area. The apartment benefits from a well appointed kitchen with electric oven & hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. We also provide an iron, hairdryer, free wifi, DVD player, shower, central heating, towels & bed linen.
    Saltcoats is a popular holiday resort found on the West coast and boasts a variety of things to see and do. Ardrossan south beach and Saltcoats beach are a few minutes from the apartment. The small harbour dates from the late 17th century with later alterations, and at low tide fossilised trees can be seen on the harbour floor. Saltcoats today is much better known for its picturesque harbour and golden, sandy beaches set around Irvine Bay. Visitors interested in the history of the area will find a comprehensive overview at the North Ayrshire Museum which is housed in a former church. Popular attractions in Saltcoats include the Apollo Cinema, Basebowl Ten Pin Bowling and the Saltcoats Town Trail where you can learn about the town’s fascinating heritage. Saltcoats is also home to variety shops to browse and cafés, bars, restaurants to dine in.

  • Un grande uso dello spazio, questo posto ha tutto il necessario per un breve soggiorno. È molto vicino alla spiaggia / traghetto / città (pochi minuti a piedi). L'auto check in e out era molto semplice e c'erano molti tocchi come bustine di tè, latte, pacchetto informativo ecc. Ci tornerei!

  • Questo appartamento è fantastico È molto accogliente e in una posizione fantastica a Largs. I servizi sono eccellenti e l'appartamento è molto pulito. Aveva tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno e altro ancora. Kenneth è un anfitrione eccezionale e ha reso il soggiorno molto semplice. C'è molto spazio per parcheggiare l'auto lungo la strada. Ho visto un paio di punti negativi sulle ripide scale, ma io e la mia compagna siamo riusciti a sollevarli bene mentre trasportavamo i nostri cani (Greyhound e Vizsla) che Kenneth ha cortesemente lasciato nell'appartamento con noi. La doccia è incantevole e la cucina ha tutto il necessario. Ci sono molti asporto nelle vicinanze se non ti piace cucinare.

There's free unrestricted on street parking, Wifi & a rear communal fully enclosed garden. Well equipped and comfortable. Ideal for short or longer breaks for a couple. Dog friendly.
    Built in 1906, this is a light and airy Edwardian period property, in a residential area , which is a mix of period properties and social housing (rather than a 'tourist hot-spot') It's within easy walking distance to the local amenities, dunes and beach. The apartment is on the ground floor and is one of 4 apartments in the block, all serviced by a single secured exterior door, leading to a communal corridor known as a 'close', from where the private entrance to the apartment is accessed. (Please note that 3 other flats use the same common entrance to the outside so there is potential for some noise) Ideal for up to 2 people. Dogs welcome. (Extra £10 charge per stay) Minimum 2 night stay.
    Please note that this is a residential area made up of a mixture of period properties and social housing. The street is usually quiet and there is unlimited on street parking. There are local amenities and the beach is within walking distance. If you are looking for a tourist 'hot spot', or luxurious surroundings, 'The Dunes' is not for you. And only one step off the street.
    Fairlie is great village on Scotlands west coast. Lots of outdoor walk/cycles/golf courses/sailing and also good bus/train services to travel further/local islands/ferries/cities of Glasgow, Ayr/Troon and Edinburgh. largs Sailing Marina with bars and cafes. Friendly Village bar/beer garden allows dogs also restaurant, food all day and night menu.

    Fairlie is a small seaside village, very near to Largs marina. It has local pub, which serves food. There is also local sandwich/hot rolls, soup, etc. There is also hairdresser, beauticians and garage, with shop.

    I am close to the local Train Station, bus route and the Ferry Terminal should you wish a Sail over to the beautiful and picturesque Island of Cumbrae.
