“Just around the corner from Victoria's Inner Harbour, Fisherman's Wharf is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. This unique marine destination offers food kiosks, unique shops and eco-tour adventures in the heart of the working harbour. Wander down the docks with your lunch, buy seafood fresh off the boat, see moored pleasure vessels and float homes, and watch as fishing vessels unload their ware”

“A little-known spot, visited only by locals. Up on an elevation for a view of the city and one of the largest Garry Oak meadows on Vancouver Island, which gives it a special, magical quality.”

“I definitely recommend checking out this attraction in Victoria. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk out to the lighthouse from the street, but it's a really enjoyable walk with great views of the ocean and ship port, and on clear days, Washington State. Out at the lighthouse there are benches you can sit on, to rest up before heading back to the start of the pier. Really nice views, totally worth checking out!”

“Walk the path and find a stairway and meet the ocean. Stare at seagulls while they stare back. Walk along old sun-bleached driftwood and throw rocks into the surf. Now you are one of us. ”

“Topaz park is a great sports field. It has a really beautiful soccer turf and great baseball diamonds. There are a couple of sets of bathrooms on the centre fields and upper fields . There’s a kids playground and one of those self propelled workout areas that we popular a few years back. There is also a lacrosse box that also doubles as road hockey. Topaz park is a very well utilized park by almost every sport. There are also many tournaments and special events held here like the Highland games. A good thing to note is that upper topaz is sometimes referred to as Glasgow Park. Nobody calls it that but it can be on softball schedules as that.”

“Head to the Royal BC Museum grounds and explore the many totem poles at Thunderbird Park. Mostly carved by Gitxsan, Haida and Kwakwaka’wakw artists, these striking artefacts are deeply associated with native culture of the region. Of all thing things to do in Victoria, this is one of the most memorable—and quintessential.”

Beach
“Excellent place to go and walk for all activity levels. I love to walk the beaches and climb the rocks but there are also paved walking paths to go for a short or long walk. Tons of dogs to visit here as it's a local favourite for doggos. Beautiful views of the olympic mountains, and adjacent to Beacon Hill Park.”

Lighthouse
“A popular walk that follows a cement structure out onto the Juan de Fuca Strait to a lighthouse on its furthest end. The area gives people an opportunity to see Victoria's busy harbour traffic as cruise ships, ferries, sailboats, float planes, helicopters and more all pass through the area to reach Victoria.”
