Knowing Sintra like the back of our hands and all the magic it has to offer, we came up with what we believe to be the most amazing and complete way of experiencing its wonders in one full day! - Start the day in Lisbon in front of Dona Maria II Theater - Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special while discovering its secrets and taste its unique pastry. - We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens. - From here we will leave the tourists behind and go through the very picturesque and hidden towns of Colares, Penedo, Almoçageme etc. to reach the open atlantic coastline. - On the coastline we will go for a waterfront lunch before exploring its brethtaking cliff views and Cabo da Roca - The end of the World! -We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace. :) Other things to note Pick up and drop off in front of Dona Maria II Theater (15 walk from most areas on the city) Meals and Monuments fees are not included.

Our dinner begins by inviting you to meet my private kitchen, where we will have an informal and relaxed moment, accompanied by a welcome drink. Then we go to the table, where we enjoy the flavors of our gastronomy, with a selection of Portuguese wines and of course, a good conviviality at the table. This is what I call, eat like the locals! - All of my dishes have a little of Heart and a little of Heritage! I will prepare a tradicional Portuguese meal. Feel at home at an informal and relaxed dinner where you'll be able to savor some of the ingredients of Portugal, a country known for its gastronomy. Os principais monumentos de Lisboa, como a Torre de Belém e o Padrão dos Descobrimentos, são feitos para homenagear os descobrimentos marítimos. E por isto, o ideal é vê-los do Rio Tejo. Assim como o MAAT ou o Cristo Rei, que estão propositadamente virados para o Rio. O Terreiro do Paço era o principal porto onde chegavam os navios com mercadorias, dai ser também conhecida por Praça do Comércio. We will sail along the Tagus river and enjoy the beautiful and full of history Lisbon's coast line. I always try to make this experience the most eco-friendly possible by using the sails, thus make it cleaner, if you want you can help me with the sailing activities or just relax. As the day ends you can enjoy Lisbon's beautiful sunset. This is a great activity for groups and families. I will be giving explanations and curious stories of Lisbon's history and of my voyages and sailing in general, and lets not forget the glass of port wine

As passioned for Lisbon, we want to show you the city as we see it, so you can get to know the secrets and customs of the Lisbon people and conquer our 7 Hills. More than a regular and touristic tour, you can learn the portuguese ways and even our language. A tuk tuk is an open air, very small and special vehicle that allow us to go through all the narrow streets of the old part of the town. We will go through them in an easy, very fun and adventurous way to go up the big hills of Lisbon. Throughout this trip, we'll explain you the history of the city and the places where we'll go, we'll do a lot of stops so you can visit inside the monuments and take some photos of the beautiful views. In this tour we'll get to know the old part of the Alfama District that includes the oldest monuments of the city near the Castle (Sé Cathedral, Saint Vicent Church, National Pantheon) awesome high viewpoints (Miradouro da Senhora do Monte and Portas do Sol) where you can see all the city and the 25th April Bridge from the top of the Hill, and stop in the little iconic streets from the XII Century. At the end we will finish in the downtown so you can explore Lisboa with new eyes. Other things to note We have 2 Tuks, the red (3 seats), the pink (4 seats) = in total 7 seats. You will be met at the Dock Gate by someone who will take you to our boat and brief you on safety and information about the boat and the tour. Our tour has recieved the Clean & Safe certification from the Portuguese Turism Board! We will then leave the dock and depending on the current and wind we will start the tour seeing the magnificent Torre de Belém and the go up river to the center of Lisbon seeing all the main points of interest during the trip. You will see Lisbon from the river and find out little secrets about this wonderful city.

First of all I have to say that Lisbon is my favorite city! Sun, nice people and good wine. About the wine, I always have a good bottle of Portuguese wine in my bag to share with you while we are walking or having breathtaking views from Lisbon’s hills. I propose you to discover Lisbon in a way I know the city with my secret streets and hidden places that only I know, believe me you will be surprised!!! I will show you the Lisbon’s most beautiful Places in 360 degrees with it’s history and funny stories. We start our adventure with the maze of Alfama, beautiful views, going through some remarkable spots as Lisbon’s Cathedral ( where I will tell you how to make a wish), Roman ruins , not touristic Miradouros in a company with a legend of ravens and many others. Then we go up to my favorite viewpoint where you can have rest and a glass of wine or two or more. The second part of our adventure is completely different. You will discover unique street art area, an old authentic district that only few people know with it’s fado history, hidden Palace in the middle of the city, creepy church and Santa Justa Elevator( I know how to get there without paying) , Gothic Church through my secret street leading up. We will take a picture between 3 hills, eat the most delicious cake and see much more. I’m truly curious about the history and I’m very funny! Je vous recevrai dans mon atelier qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes. J'anime seule l'atelier et souhaite vous connaître, c'est pourquoi une fois installés, nous ferons un rapide tour de table. Ma langue natale est le français mais je me débrouille en anglais et en portugais !! Ensuite, je vous présenterai le déroulement de l'atelier et le principe des Formettes. Pendant un peu plus de deux heures, vous serez libre de vous exprimer sur le papier et créer votre oeuvre d'art unique. Durant tout le procédé, je resterai à vos côtés pour vous guider si vous en ressentez le besoin. Une fois terminé, votre dessin sera scanné et transféré sur un carreau de faïence de 10cm sur 10cm ainsi vous repartirez avec votre vrai azulejos unique et un souvenir de votre voyage hors du commun. Si vous le souhaitez il sera possible d'acheter le kit Formettes Lisbon Collection et d'éditer d'autres carreaux ou objets pour rapporter en cadeaux mais ce n'est pas compris dans le tarif du workshop. Autres remarques L'atelier qui se déroule dans une atmosphère reposante et détendue. Aucune connaissance en dessin n'est requise.

Alfama: here we will start to see the local fish market, the public laundry and the local markets of the old city. Inside the alfama we will also visit the jewish old quarter, from here we are very close from the Sé District. Santo Estevão: If all the electric bike engines works good we will start climbing Lisboa, good bye Alfama, we are now at the first view point of Lisboa. From here we will see Alfama from the top, don´t forget your camera or you will regret forever... Castelo: our journey continues going up, if you are here, congratulations! You Have conquered the castle! Graça: If you think the castle was the highest part of our tour, forget it, we still have graça! Let´s seat here and have a water, coffee or beer, please take your time.. Senhora do Monte:Welcome to the most incredible view of Lisboa, considered by many "the view point".Enjoy the panoramic view of Lisboa, there´s nothing more to say! Mouraria: Test your breaks, we will start going down, this is the Last District of Lisboa. Here you will understand our culture, our roots, get close to our people to understand what is the Fado. Have you ever heard Fado? Other things to note Bring your comfortable shoes and and extra light jacket, Lisbon is windy at the view points! If it rains in a sunny day we will we have a rain poncho for you in a hot day we will have plenty of water.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE DESCRIPTION Join us on a unique 4 hour walking tour of Lisbon and discover the rich history of the African diaspora in the city. With plenty of stops along the way, you'll have the opportunity to engage in conversation with attendees from all over the world and learn about the experiences of African people during the Portuguese transtlantic trade and colonial era. Not only will you get to know the african diaspora today, but you'll also have the chance to connect with people and learn about their realities. After the 4 hours walk, we end up with a delicious meal at an African restaurant, supporting black businesses in the community. Please be aware that Lisbon is hilly and slippery and there stairs to climb. Therefore there is a minimum of physical condition necessary. There are some stairs to climb up. Also wear comfortable shoes. Why not to expect: - This experience is DESIGNED for large groups. If you are expecting a small group, this is definitely not a tour for you. - The main topic is the Slave trade in Portugal and the world. If you are not comfortable with this subject this is definitely not an experience for you. This tour is suitable for kids and seniors as long as they are used to walking.
