La Jolla Bay is a Marine Protected Area that is home to a thriving ecosystem that boasts a high concentration of sea life, has a natural boat launch, which allows safe ocean entry year-round, and is famous for its Sea Caves and Marine Reserve. No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. If conditions are safe, we will help guide your kayak into Emerald Cave. If it's not safe to enter Emerald Cave, we will still paddle out & explore La Jolla's World-Famous Marine Reserve. Note: if not safe we WILL NOT enter the Emerald Cave, we don't cancel if the cave isn't safe and spend about a minute inside. La Jolla Bay is an Uncontrollable Environment. This area is covered by the ocean half of the day- during high tide- and the pools are exposed at low tide, which creates a unique, yet fragile, habitat for lots of small invertebrates and fish! At our meeting spot, I will give you a brief talk on safety and tide pool rules, as all San Diego tide pools have a strict "no collection" policy. Once we understand how to tide pool safely and respectfully, the adventure begins! You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. There will be plenty of time for questions and pictures with our birds. My hope is to send you home with a new, or perhaps renewed, love for these majestic predators and the environment. We will be snorkeling in Mission Bay, a calm, flat body of water that feeds into the Pacific Ocean. Being in the bay, we typically encounter small fish, interesting algae, and lots of invertebrates, including sea slugs, octopus, urchins, and sea stars! After a brief safety and snorkel etiquette talk, we will explore the area for one hour. I will point out and provide detailed information on the flora and fauna we encounter during the experience! *If you are a non-swimmer, feel free to book a private tour and/or message me to see if this is the right experience for you. Sometimes guests can be overwhelmed by the water, but this is the perfect place to learn! Hello Surfers, and water people! For this experience I am your guidance, and mother ocean will be your teacher. I cater to each persons skill level, so the more advanced surfers I will surf along side of and the beginners I normally swim beside you(depending on condition) I enjoy elements of breath work and meditation to get to the best surfers inside of us. We will meet at the beach where I will have the equipment ready for you and get to know about your path to surfing. After situating into wetsuits we will talk surfing techniques, pop ups, terminology followed by some land practice. Once we feel comfortable, it's our time to get in and try. *GROUPS*only 1 person needs to book*

Come out and meet us on the pier for some memorable moments. We will provide you with rod, tackle and all the necessities you need in order to catch a fish. If we’re lucky we will catch anything from; leopard shark, croaker, Sand bass, halibut, guitar fish and many more. Our favorite hobby is connecting people with fishing.

Message before booking We will fulfill your experience on the beautiful coastline of San Diego California, where we will meet you with a great attitude and positive energy. We will provide you with a surfboard, full instruction, photos, videos and a great time out in the water. We will start on the sand, where we will greet each other and get to know your learning style and comfortability in the water. We will then proceed to getting you accommodated with the proper surfboard and wetsuit if you would like to wear one. We will then give you a full demo on the sand showing you how to properly catch a wave. After the demo is complete, we will then progress into the water when you have confirmed that you are comfortable. We will remain in the water for the rest of the lesson, as we will stay shallow and progress at your own comfortability. Water instruction will consist of us gently pushing you into waves as I will monitor your progress and cater to any questions that you may have. We will grab our camera and capture great quality water photos of you catching the waves. Safety is the number one emphasis of our experience, as we will go over water safety and make sure that everyone is fully alert, comfortable, and ready to have a fun time.
