Get back to nature in style at this beautiful, peaceful woodland retreat, just one and a half miles inland from the popular coastal village of Weybourne. Liz's Lodge is a fabulously luxurious Scandinavian A-frame dwelling, set in a small copse within the secluded 'woodland village' of Weybourne Forest. Furnished in an elegant, contemporary style with great attention to detail, and clever use of space, the owner has created a very relaxed and comfortable environment, in keeping with its lovely, tranquil setting. The lodge has three bedrooms, one of which is downstairs, and two bathrooms. The stunning open-plan and light-filled living space has one totally glazed wall to take full advantage of the woodland scene outside. This is a superb place to socialise, as well as relax and take in the view - slide open the door and you can bring the outside in. On warm days you have a choice of two decked, glazed balconies, where you can enjoy some alfresco dining or just lie back, look at that great big Norfolk sky and listen to the birds! A little way down the hill is Weybourne Station, where you can take a ride back in time and catch the Poppyline steam train to either Holt or Sheringham. It's about a twenty minute walk down to the main village where there is a well-stocked village store, and a good pub serving food. The Coasthopper bus passes through on a regular basis all year round, and stops at all the coastal villages from Kings Lynn to Cromer. Liz's Lodge really is the perfect place to stay if you like to keep fit; there are some pretty woodland trails to explore from right outside the door, the National Trust's Sheringham Park and Kelling Heath are close by, and the North Norfolk coastal path is a short drive (or two mile walk) away. Guests can also enjoy complimentary membership at the nearby Woodlands Leisure Club, easily reached by car, or via the woodland footpath (about a mile), where there is a heated 25m x 10m adult pool, a children's pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath, gym and fitness suite, as well as beauty spa. Ground Floor: Entrance hallway With coat rack and sideboard. Stunning open-plan living space A spacious full height, light filled open-plan area with spectacular woodland views.

We have reduced the rate to just cover our costs to try to help anyone who needs a place to stay. Budget accommodation, we welcome families and groups from all over the world to our home in the comfortable suburbs of Norwich and just within the bounds of the Broads National Park. Full of books, toys, plants, art and instruments.
A quirky semi-detached house built in 1930. Light and airy with lots of stripped wood floors, rainbow colours and plants. It's a real home with all the things a family could need - including books and toys for children of all ages (we have 5 ourselves!). Our cosy living room has a big TV with a Full House cable package, as well as Netflix - there's a even a Nintendo Wii. There's board games, plenty of books and musical instruments to for when you don't want any screens. The back garden is a riot of colour in June and July, with a lawn for lounging (sun loungers provided) and a patio for dining (outdoor seating for up to 10 people is provided). A well stocked kitchen with everything you need for real, actual cooking (we are so fed up of blunt knives, no salt and pepper and missing cork screws when we travel).
Quiet, civilised suburban area of Norwich. The road is quiet and residential. We're only 10 minutes drive from the airport or the train station.

A cool and contemporary conversion of an old boathouse with a pretty courtyard garden and parking, just a short walk from Wells quay and the centre of this bustling little seaside town. This stylish hideaway, a favourite with our guests, is set in a quiet and peaceful location yet is only a short walk to all the pubs, restaurants and shops. Although small in size, this 'cute as a button' property delivers in bucket loads. With quality fixtures and fittings throughout and a stylish vibe, this little gem is a great place to stay all-year round. With most of the accommodation on the first floor, you have the added benefit of a parking space for a medium sized vehicle in the garage beneath the living area - a rarity in Wells! This bijou detached property allows couples to enjoy plenty of privacy too, with a pretty sheltered courtyard garden to the rear, which is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee and reading the newspaper or dining alfresco on warmer days. Ground Floor: Entrance hall With limestone flooring and stairs leading to first floor. Shower room Shower, wash basin and WC Utility room/garage Utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. First Floor: Open plan living area Living area Light and airy room with oak flooring, velux windows and french doors onto a Juliette style balcony. Sofa, television with FreeSat and DVD player, CD player/iPod dock unit. Kitchen area Two ring hob, oven, fridge (freezer is located in the utility area/garage), microwave, butcher's style block for food preparation, dining table and seating for two. The town green, with its two high-quality pub restaurants, is on the doorstep of this fantastic character getaway! This beach bolthole is seconds from the high street, which leads directly to the quayside a short 5-minute stroll away. The property has two generous bedrooms and a spacious living area and kitchen, with a small courtyard garden. We also have access to beach huts in the dog-friendly and dog-free sections of Wells beach by separate agreement (not included in property rental).
A large, light and spacious living room provides two sofas with space for cosy family evenings playing the board games or catching up on the day's news or a DVD on the flat-screen television with Sky TV or listening to the great-quality wireless sound system. The wi-fi is fibre, with download speeds of around 35mb. The kitchen has all mod-cons including a large fridge freezer, oven, microwave and washing machine. Also provided are a Dolce-Gusto coffee machine and De'Longhi toaster and kettle. The dining table allows for 4 people to gather for a hearty breakfast before the day's activities. There is more than sufficient kitchen equipment to take advantage of the amazing local Norfolk produce on offer in the nearby deli and other shops to create a family dinner if you decide to stay in, but it may be difficult to resist the two pubs - The Globe and The Crown - both only yards away and both providing great beers, wines and of course superb a food offering. The two generous bedrooms offer a choice depending on guests' requirements - one has a super-king bed and the second bedroom has a zip-link which can alternate between a super-king bed or can be separated into two single beds. Both bedrooms have brand new (2017) hotel-quality mattresses, built-in wardrobes with plenty of space and two bedside tables, each with reading lamps. The bathroom is a light and contemporary suite with bath, basin and toilet, with a shower unit over the bath. A selection of complimentary high-quality toiletries is available for guests and towels for the bathroom and linen for the bedroom are of course provided. To the rear of the property there is a small paved courtyard area with an outside table and two chairs. There is no designated parking, but there are no parking restrictions on The Buttlands and there is space immediately outside the property which is usually available. This property would make a perfect getaway for friends, couples or families looking for a place close to the town, the beach and everything that the beautiful North Norfolk coast has to offer. A beach hut in the dog-friendly section of Wells beach is available by separate agreement (not included in property rental) on a weekly basis, Friday to Friday.

Burnham Market A delightful Georgian village which is situated a stone’s throw away from the glorious North Norfolk coastline and is the largest of the 7 Burnham villages. At its centre is a large village green surrounded by striking Queen Anne and Georgian buildings, with 2 churches that lie at each end of its broad main street. Unlike many other English towns which are dominated by multiples, Burnham Market has a traditional post office, butcher, baker, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life, but there are also over 30 highly original independent and specialist shops, selling a wide range of exciting deli products, vibrant and stylish accessories for home and garden, smart clothes shops, and books old and new. There are some great places to eat, the best being the renowned Hoste Arms which is a 17th Century old coaching house and is open all day. As a result Burnham Market attracts many celebrities and cosmopolitan visitors, getting very crowded in the holiday periods, earning the nickname “Chelsea-on-Sea.” There is an annual summer music festival with professional musicians entertaining residents and holiday makers in various venues such as the lovely church of Burnham Westgate at the western edge of the village. From the end of November the village is beautifully lit with Christmas lights and it makes the perfect place to visit for Christmas shopping.

Historic WW2 Lookout with exceptional cliff top views, now our quirky but totally unique home which is available when we are away. It is set in secluded woodland with private parking. It’s 300m from the beach plus 10 min walk into town along the coast path. There is a terrace with BBQ and front garden with direct access to the clifftop steps to the beach. It is small but it has 4 linked rooms that sleep 4 with a kitchen, shower room and ironing board.
The original building was erected in 1942 as a very solid World War II Lookout and listening post. It was modified for use by the coastguard after the war and it is this flat roofed structure that remains relatively unchanged to this day: even the concrete fence posts are still in place! The main room has stunning panoramic sea views on 3 sides through the original slanted WW2 bronze windows and from here there is a door on to the terrace. As there is no separate sitting room this main room contains a single bed which can be used as a seat when not in use. There is also a dining table with 5 stools, 2 high chairs at the windows and one armchair. The kitchen leads off the main room and has a small oven, microwave oven, halogen hobs, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a copper water filter, a kettle and a toaster. From the kitchen stairs leads down to a linking room containing a single bed which connects to the main bedroom which has twin beds that can be converted to a double. The shower room is "wet room" style and access is off the link room. It has an electric shower, WC and heated towel rail. There is a TV, new electric radiators and free unlimited high speed Wifi. There is direct access through the front garden onto the coastal path with steps close by leading down to the sandy beach just minutes away. At the back of the property there is a woodland footpath which leads to The Lighthouse and The Royal Cromer Golf Course. It is a mere 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town along the promenade. Cromer is a quintessential British seaside holiday town which boasted many famous visitors in its Victorian heyday when people travelled by train to enjoy the coastal scenery and take restorative dips in the sea whilst breathing in its famously clean air. Many of the historic buildings remain and it has a pier with an active lifeboat station and the Pavilion Theatre. The beautifully renovated sea front has been brought right up to date with the addition of the Glide Surf School & Cedar House Surf Shop and the North Norfolk Lifesaving Club. It is a great place to learn to surf or try stand up paddle boarding ( SUP ) in flatter conditions plus you can watch the more experienced surfers surf the big North Sea swells all year round.

  • Mia mamma, mia sorella e io abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni fantastici a Emily's Lookout.

Cromer è a 10 minuti a piedi.

Grazie Emily

Location, location, location! You will be hard pressed to find such a super, stylish little cottage that's got a better view of the Quay than this one. And there's a small parking space too. Situated at the far end of Wells harbour, this lovely character cottage enjoys fabulous views from both the kitchen and master bedroom across the Quay towards the marsh and sea beyond. Refurbished in 2018, Creek Cottage has been sympathetically updated and furnished in a low key relaxing style with comfort foremost in mind. There are two bedrooms (double and twin) on the first floor, along with a shower room. Down the Norfolk winder stairs on the ground floor is a well-equipped dining kitchen, cosy sitting room and a further bathroom. Outside is a small courtyard garden with seating. Perfect for enjoying a relaxing glass of wine or two at the end of a busy day. This bijou cottage is a true delight and is sure to be a very popular holiday choice for families, couples and friends. At full tide the harbour comes alive with fishing boats unloading their catch and local sailors setting out and returning from a day's sailing. Step out of the front door of Creek Cottage and you are just a two minute walk from the heart of this popular seaside town - Staithe Street, with its eclectic mix of cafes, restaurants and independent shops to browse selling absolutely everything. If you have left something behind, worry not, you will find it here and when you want to eat out, you are spoilt for choice with eateries to choose from. Additional Information Please note: Creek Cottage has steep Norfolk winder stairs, As with older, character cottages, they are enclosed, steep, curved and narrow. They are wooden with a solid hand rail on one side. Here there is a door at the bottom and a stair gate at the top of the stairs. Sorry, no pets. Ground Floor: Dining kitchen With a window overlooking the Quay, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge with ice box. There is a dining table with seating for four. Sitting room A cosy room with a gas 'stove', wide screen Smart television with built-in DVD player and Netflix available for account holders. Cloakroom With wash basin and WC. Bathroom With bath, overhead shower with rainfall shower head and separate handheld shower and wash basin. From the Sitting Room steep Norfolk winder stairs (there is a door at the bottom and stairgate at the top of the stairs) lead to: First Floor: Bedroom two With full-size single beds. Master bedroom The room with a view! With a double bed and french doors that open and offer wonderful far reaching views across the Quay to the marsh and sea. Shower room With shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Outside: There is a small east facing courtyard garden with bistro table and seating. Parking is available either within the adjoining garage (though this is very narrow) or immediately outside the garage (space for a small car only). If you have a larger car you can raise the garage door and park the front of the car inside the garage. NB: Parked cars must not overlap the pavement, as this could incur a fine. Our home is an old converted chapel, and downstairs is fully open plan. Kitchen/ dining: Modern kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave. Kitchen shared with owners. Very happy for you to cook meals and supermarkets within 5 minutes drive. Large table with seating for 6 people. Bathroom: lovely deep bath with seperate shower cubicle and power shower. Towels available if needed. Bathroom is for guests only and if other bedroom in use will be shared with those guests, but if only you then will be the sole users. We are very happy to interact when home, but equally respect that some guests will want their own space/ peace so very chilled about amount of interaction. We live in a small village 5 mins drive from King's Lynn. There are a few local shops- a post office, general store, lovely fish and chip shop ( that also does pizza and kebabs), a hairdresser opposite which the owner uses and recommends and of course the amazing butcher that people travel from all over King's Lynn to visit and buy their meat. You can get takeaway deliveries- Domino, Pizza Hut, Indian- the only thing we would like is for you to eat in the dining area instead of rooms (or outside in the garden of course). We are 2 mins walk from the little ferry that will take you across the water into King's Lynn town centre- a lovely way to see the sights and do shopping. Parking available on drive- space for 2-3 cars. No parking restrictions in the road and plenty of space to park. Bus stop 2 mins walk away- takes you to the train station, bus station and town centre. Train station 10 mins bus ride away. Ferry into town is excellent- and just behind our house. We have 3 cats- they are all quite young so can have scatty 10 mins and tear about but all are very sweet natured so if you like cats they will absolutely love strokes. If we are away we have a neighbour feed them in the morning and evening but if you wish to do this and avoid being disturbed please let us know. As we have cats, we ask you not to bring any pets with you- sorry! Babies/ children of all ages very welcome. We don't have cots etc but both rooms are big enough for a travel cot if you bring your own.

Pimpernel Cottage is a beautifully restored Grade 2 listed brick and flint fisherman’s cottage in the heart of the small North Norfolk coastal village of Blakeney just yards from the quay.
Your comfort is our main aim, so we have filled the cottage with books and games that can be enjoyed in front of the wood burner in the winter or in the small communal courtyard, locally known as a loke, in the summer. The focal point of the living room is the real fire but the cottage has all 'mod cons' too with TV, DVD, ipod doc and DVD library. The compact kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob & oven, microware and Nespresso coffee machine. Up the original staircase (which is steep and therefore not suitable for toddlers or those with mobility issues) is the spacious master bedroom which has plenty of storage, reading chairs and comfortable double (4ft 6") bed. The modern bathroom is next to the bedroom, and has a shower over the bath. Outside is a shared courtyard garden and Pimpernel Cottage has its own corner, with table & chairs, which makes a delightful spot for a summer's lunch or relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day.
Pimpernel Cottage makes an ideal base to explore North Norfolk, Nelson’s county. It is adjacent to the Coastal path, and at any time of year you can simply open the front door and wander the 100 metres, passing the Kings Arms on the way, and take in the beauty of the marshes and the exhilarating sea air. We happily accommodate dogs and there are many fantastic walks locally with miles of beaches as well as the National Trust and English Heritage attractions abound in the area. Pensthorpe, for many years home to BBC’s Springwatch is a short drive away. The village of Blakeney was once a busy working port but is now used mainly for sailing and seal trips to Blakeney point - there are many boat trips to this three mile shingle spit, a magical place to visit for keen birdwatchers. The village has great selection of holiday amenities - great pubs, cafes, a delicatessen, fish shop, art gallery and small supermarket & post office catering for all your needs. All these attractions together with welcoming local pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area make Blakeney a superb location to relax and unwind.

Altamente raccomandato!!
