Often discussing the development of South Florida is a very interesting topic, Port Everglades, Prohibition, Miami vs Fort Lauderdale, and then we have a whole eco side of the tour where we discuss the mangroves, seagrapes, johnson seagrass, herons, crabs, and fish in the area. Don't worry we have no gators on site! All of my day trips are exclusive and catered for you. We start with fitting the equipment to you and reviewing safety for the tour. We will head South throughout the Venetian Isles where you can view Mega Yachts and Mansions before we get to Annie Beck Park. Here we have a mangrove sanctuary where we can view herons nesting, barracudas hunting, and crabs scurrying around the trees. From there we travel South further to Las Olas and the New River where you can see down town and some of the most expensive homes in the City of Fort Lauderdale. As we make our way back to our starting point we pick out our future homes and yachts and see who can come up with the most creative name! Other things to note Do not bring any items you do not want to bring on to the kayak or that can not get wet. there is no storage or lockers at this facility.

An hour out in the water will consist of getting you geared up, and pushing you into waves, and by the end of the lessons we hope to get you paddling and catching your waves. We will get you into the right waves to help you learn how to surf. The water in Florida is a great place to begin your surfing journey.

Our tour starts in Flagler Village, home to the up and coming arts district of Fort Lauderdale. We begin by exploring the history of Fort Lauderdale's pioneers and how they impacted the development of the city. As we walk we will examine the relationship between the built environment and how that impacts crime, traffic, and the experience of being a pedestrian. We will discuss the history and various types of architectural forms including brutalism, frame vernacular, revival, modern and mid-century modern. We will identify the city's most well-known pieces of architecture, and discuss the interpretation of those buildings. Although Fort Lauderdale is not known for its hills, I will show you 3 hills in the city that most locals don't know exist. We will conclude our tour at the MASS district, Music and Arts South of Sunrise, one of the city's two art districts, known for it's galleries, bars, and breweries. Other things to note This is a walking tour, please wear comfortable walking shoes. Remember to bring a bottle of water. Some people like to wear a hat, bring one if you feel you need one.

Guest will receive quick & easy safety tips & familiarize themselves with the water bikes then off to explore natures best. Guest will then explore the beautiful intracoastal waters Fort Lauderdale has to offer as we pass by kayakers, yachts & paddle borders along the way. GET READY TO BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION! Join us for a 1-hour in-water (shore-based) eco-tour within a few hundred feet from the coastline at Lauderdale by the Sea. We will spend time in water time snorkeling, and showcasing the abundance of marine life, coral reefs, and the impact of human and natural interactions. We follow local tide charts to get the best visibility and provide safety for all group members. The snorkeling tour is very popular with our guests, who very often want a more intimate experience than just swimming in the ocean. Due to our location, we are able to provide direct access to the #1 snorkeling/diving destination in the United States with a quick-walk from our facility. If you would like to book a private tour, please contact us directly. No prior snorkel experience is required on our snorkel eco-tour excursions, but participants should be comfortable swimmers. I provide basic snorkel instruction in the field including advice on use of equipment and body position in the water.

You will arrive at the beach and given a harness belt and googles.During the winter time we also provide wetsuits. Once you've been fitted you will then be given a brief instruction on the SEABOB. Beach Cabana with music! Experience a day at the beach in a cabana tailored to your musical ear. We will meet at the Broadwalk stage at the meet time ,we will walk to the cabana location on the sand. While you catch the ocean breeze Taylor will welcome you with drinks , snacks and share stories about the beach community while listening to a custom playlist of music. Menues will be provided to order from the bar & Grille. Gaze at the calm ocean waters, take selfies ,relax as you warm your toes in the beach sand. The 10x10 cabana has recliners, table ,cup holders, and secure storage.
