Ryefield studio is a cosy modern studio situated on the edge of Bradley a small village just 2miles out of Skipton. Our studio is a perfect place for couple/friends wanting to explore the Yorkshire dales and surrounding areas. We are pet friendly with plenty of outside space for you to walk your dog. We also have ample private parking.
Ryefield Studio is a studio flat, situated above our garage. There is several steps to its own decking area and front door. It’s a small cosy studio, with everything you need for your stay.
Bradley has a local shop, which is well stocked and has good opening hours, a pub (The Slaters Arms) which serves delicious food and has an excellent beer garden. We are also surrounded by beautiful walks, including the Leeds/Liverpool canal which can offer a walk/cycle to Skipton. Skipton is a small market town. It has a castle which is worth the visit, lovely walks in the woods or along the canal, it also has a wide range of cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs. ALDI supermarket is also a 5 minute drive away.

Excellent transport links to Leeds, Manchester and the Dales . Bus station and train fromy house. Wetherspoonsis a 3 min walk and is open from.8am for breakfast

Perfect for families with a treehouse-style bunk room for 3 children, double bedroom, log burner, large beautiful woodland garden, cosy lounge, kitchen and family bathroom. We're close to Skipton, Malham, The Yorkshire Dales & Ribble Valley. Within 1 hour you can be in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Blackpool or The South Lakes. There's so much for families to do when you stay with us.
The treehouse-style bunk rooms sleeps 2 children in single bunks and a third on a futon bed. We're happy for adults to stay in this room if you're OK with the set-up.
The Red Lion (friendly local drinking pub) is 300 yards away. Mid-sized Coop supermarket within walking distance open 7 days a week 6am to 10pm. Madras Indian Restaurant within Walking distance.

A Room with a View of the beautiful Dales surrounding the delightful town of Skipton. Light and airy with a very comfortable bed and your own Private Bathroom. All just 10 minutes walk to the shops and lots of lovely places to eat. A perfectly peaceful base for holiday makers, walkers, cyclists or the business traveller.
In your Room with a View there is ample wardrobe space with drawers and mirrored doors. Plenty of work space on the desk for laptop etc, free Wifi and lots of electric sockets. Feel free to use the kitchen facilities to heat and eat your food and where you will also find access to a TV/radio. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread and cereals will be provided for you to make your own breakfast and there is a separate fridge should you need to store your own food. Enjoy relaxing in my peaceful garden with splendid views of the surrounding Dales. There is a lockable storage shed at the front of the property for your bike. Longer term stays for a business person welcomed.
This is a quiet residential area on a hillside with lovely views and only 10 minutes taxi ride from the station. It is the ideal base if you are coming for a holiday to sample some of the best of the British countryside but also want to link up easily the culture that is on offer in Leeds, Harrogate or York. My home is also a convenient and peaceful place for the business traveller.

    Situated within the Weaving Shed of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The small village of Lothersdale is in a rural valley; five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We can offer bike use, trout fishing in the local stream (in season) and there are numerous country walks. The nearby towns of Skipton and Haworth are popular tourist destinations.
    Shed End is an attractive private space on the edge of this compact village. Guests can use adjacent an adjacent meadow and attached yard. The property features period details and underfloor heating. Shed End is part of a wider scheme to convert this 18th century textile mill to residential and commercial use. The Great Wheel is reputedly the largest indoor water wheel in the world.
    Lothersdale is a small rural village, typical of the traditional Yorkshire Pennines. There has been very little modern development. We are right on the Pennine Way, along-distance hiking route. We provide info about things to do, including walks, visits and local activities. The nearest small towns are Crosshills and Earby, Skipton (with a castle and other tourist attractions) and Colne are about 5 miles away. The tourist towns of Haworth, Ripon, Harrogate and Knaresborough are about 45-minutes' drive away.

    A unique and eclectic loft conversion in the heart of the quiet village of Carleton, 1.5 miles outside the popular market town of Skipton, 'Gateway to the Dales'. Offering seclusion, privacy and comfort, this is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Carleton has a pub, a social club, a village store, a Post Office, a pharmacy, and direct bus links to Skipton during the week. The Pennine Way crosses the top of Carleton Moor and sections of 2014 Tour de France are on the doorstep.
    The Loft is a third floor apartment, comprising a spacious living room with a smart TV including its own Netflix log in and DVD player, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, secondary WC, bedroom, and private outdoor terrace. The apartment is very light and airy during the day; extremely cosy on a night, and at its best on a summer day when the terrace comes into its own, which is accessed directly from both the living room and bedroom.
    A beautiful village in the Yorkshire Dales with a great sense of community.

    A newly built dwelling in the grounds of our c18th century farmhouse with stunning views across the Pennine hills. We are situated just above the village of Cowling in North Yorkshire, a peaceful setting complimented in the Lodge by having no TV (there is WiFi if you want to bring your own tablet or laptop for your fix). Underfloor heating with the addition of a log burner will keep you warm while the wind blows across the hills outside.
    The Lodge has a double bedroom with a king size bed, bathroom and open plan living area. Upon your arrival there will be tea, coffee and milk to welcome you. The bedroom overlooks the fields towards Cowling Pinnacle and Lund's Tower in one direction, and over our vegetable patch and chicken run (which you are welcome to go and feed the chickens) in the other. The open plan living area has a kitchen with hob, oven, extractor, dishwasher, sink, plenty of storage and all the usual kitchen equipment (if there is anything missing, just let us know). There is also a dining table with four chairs and a sofa/chair in front of the wood burner (which will be equipped with logs for one night, further logs are available for purchase). There is no TV to make this a peaceful stay with the chance to unwind and relax. You are welcome to wander through our field which joins on to some of the many public footpaths in the area. If you do need to work or connect to the outside world, there is secure WiFi in the Lodge. The shower room has a twin headed shower, basin and toilet in. The Lodge has underfloor heating throughout, the heating and hot water are provided by an air source heat pump powered by the solar panels on the roof.
    Cowling has a village shop, pub and restaurant, with many other pubs and restaurants serving good food being within an easy drive.

    A pet friendly, modern, self-contained 1 bedroom accommodation (also double sofa bed in living area) situated in the peaceful and charming village of Carleton-In-Craven. Easy walking distance of the local pub (5mins), 2miles from the bustling vibrant market town of Skipton “Yorkshires, Gateway to the Dales”. Ample free parking on site, A perfect location for couple/small group/family who want to relax in the great outdoors or explore Skipton and beyond. Pets and infants at no extra cost!
    There is an enclosed patio area with table and chairs for the private use of this accommodation . There is also private parking immediately in front of the accommodation. A small croft can be used which is at the bottom of the house drive , which may be useful for those bringing dogs .
    We live in a quite area of the village which is south facing , so when the sun is out we can get coverage most of the day. We do have neighbours , so we ask for guests to respect the quiet hours of 10pm -8am. We have our own croft , which is accessible from the accommodation , and is perfect for allowing your dog to have a bit of freedom , or if you want to make use of it to sunbathe , relax , play or just paddle in the stream. There are many lovely walks straight from the door step, which can incorporate some of the local pubs from nearby villages. Carleton itself has a lovely modern country pub The Swan Inn , which is dog friendly , is approx 3 min walk and serves some really excellent food . It serves food every day 12-9pm.

    A 'magical' little place that hugs you as soon as you walk through the door. Traffic-free location with parking for 2/3 cars, priceless! Great base for walking, cycling & perfect jumping-off spot for Yorkshire Dales, Pendle Hill, Ribble Valley & Bowland and Bronte Country. Earby is right on Yorks/Lancs border (disputed!) the Pennine Way is 1 mile, Pendle Way 200 metres. 2015 TOB 'King of The Mountain' stage is 2 mins ride. Co-op, village shops, cafes, chippy, takeaways, pubs & curry house.
    Spoiler - it's not a cottage! It may be cute, "cottagey" even ... but it's still just a terrace. Just so you know. And it's not a show-house, I've gone for more of a 'lived-in' look, one which has taken 12 years of minimal effort since I gutted the place. As for it's curious name there's a clue in the pictures and a few more in my profile...
    All the shops are within 5 mins walk. The Co-op is open til 10pm and there are proper village shops like butchers, greengrocers, bakery, couple of caffs, a launderette, pensions adviser and an emporium of bridal apparel (bit expensive but, you know, each to her own). 4 pubs, of which the Red Lion's deffo your best bet for real ale.

    Bamboo is a light and airy 4 berth, 44 foot narrowboat moored in a tranquil setting on the Leeds/Liverpool canal - ideal for visits to the nearby Yorkshire Dales or Forest of Bowland. Modern yet cosy, Bamboo is a home from home that offers the perfect getaway for romantics, those seeking something a little different and small families who like trees, ducks and water!
    Come on board and let's take a look round. Our tour starts with Bamboo's lovely stern deck with bistro chairs and table - just right for a relaxing meal on a summer's evening. Step through the hatch/doorway, down three steps and you're into the double bedroom with storage drawers below and clothes hanging space and cupboards above. Going forward, past the bathroom with shower, flush toilet, washbasin and cupboard space, we come to the well-equipped galley (kitchen) with gas cooker and fridge (with small freezer compartment). Beyond lies the open plan dining area and lounge with wood burning stove, LCD TV/DVD player, Huawei 4G mobile router, mobile Bluetooth speaker and portable FM radio. The cosy L-shaped sofa converts into a comfortable double bed. Finally, french doors lead out onto the bow deck seating area - perfect for a leisurely cup of coffee or glass of wine. Bamboo has hot/cold running water and, should it get a little chilly, the central heating system will keep you warm. Bamboo benefits from a 240 volt hook up so you can use laptops or charge your tablet. There is a designated parking space approximately 5 minutes walk from Bamboo along an unmetalled road. Guests are welcome to bring their cars alongside Bamboo to load or unload but are politely asked to return them to the parking area as soon as possible.
    Bamboo is moored on the Leeds/Liverpool canal in a quiet, relaxed marina on the outskirts of the friendly market town of Barnoldswick. The boat looks out on rolling hills and woodland. Ducks and swans are regular visitors and deer can often be seen in the fields opposite. Bird watchers will find a variety of songbirds to interest them and the canal boasts plenty of bream and perch for those keen on fishing. The nearest pub, the Anchor Inn, is a 15 minute walk down the towpath. Barnoldswick itself is situated in the Pennine hills on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border and is perfectly placed for visits to the nearby Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It also has wonderful walking county of its own - the view from the heather moorland of Weets Hill is one of the best in the country. The Pennine cycle way passes through the town and the Pennine bridleway is a five minute walk down the towpath. Skipton, with its famous castle, bars and bustling street market is less than ten miles away and, for those who appreciate good food, Lancashire's top gastropubs are nearby.

There are wonderful walks to enjoy from the door in Skipton woods, or up on the fells. We have canals, steam railways, Bolton Abbey and the Yorkshire Dales national park, all within easy reach.
    Our Dog-Friendly Holiday Cottage Is the perfect base to explore the wonders of Skipton & The Dales. The Bailey is a very cosy dog friendly cottage for 2 people (one Kingsize bed with beautiful Egyptian cotton bedding) with a wood burner, next to the castle in the middle of Skipton, officially the happiest place in the UK and gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. There are wonderful walks in Skipton woods or on the fells. Bolton Abbey is 10 minutes away and Skipton is full of great dog friendly pubs, restaurants and cafes. You can hire a day boat on the Leeds / Liverpool canal, road or mountain bikes from us or even book a chauffeur driven tour of the Yorkshire Dales in a classic car! We have a beautiful, large enclosed garden, full Sky package including Sports and Movies and very fast, hard wired BT WiFi. We have just completed a full renovation including a new kitchen and bathroom. The cottage has parking for one car.

    The 1855 Wash House is a studio cottage, located within a minutes walk from Skipton High Street. It is on one level apart from one step down into the kitchen. The studio is situated at the rear of a Victorian terrace within the owners garden. There is an outdoor flagged area for guests with sheltered seating for 2. There is a permit parking space at the front of the cottage. Several early morning opening cafes are close by and Marks and Spencers Simply food is just around the corner.
    The studio is in a fantastic location right in the heart of Skipton with easy access to all fascilities, yet is safe and quiet at night. It is warm and comfortable with a small but stylish kitchen and bathroom.
    There is a great mix of residential properties, shops cafes and bars within the neighbourhood. The medieval castle, church, canal and woods are only a few minutes walk away.

    Spacious and light double room in traditional Victorian cottage. Shared living room, large kitchen with inglenook fireplace and a beautiful victorian style bathroom, separate shower. Situated in the picturesque North Yorkshire village of Cononley. Two village pubs and a quirky local shop. Train station 3 mins walk and 1 stop from the beautiful tourist town of Skipton. Easy access to Leeds or Bradford.
    This is a beautiful, spacious and bright double room. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and guests are also welcome to make a cuppa in the fabulous kitchen. There is space to study in the bedroom if needed or you might like to simply relax with a glass of wine in our free standing bath! Plenty of room to hang clothes and there is a hairdryer - all ready for an evening out exploring.
    Cononley is a very picturesque village nestled into beautiful countryside, just 3 miles south of the thriving tourist town of Skipton. Most houses in Cononley date back to the 17th Century, with recent innovative redevelopment of the former textile mill. There are 2 great pubs and a park with bowling green, cricket pitch and play area. Cononley pubs serve great food and Skipton is very close if you would like more choice. I am involved in Skipton's Meetup - you would be very welcome to join in any of our social events (Skipton has a great live music scene and some fantastic restaurants).

    We are 4 miles from the market town of Skipton renowned for its market and castle. Skipton has a wide selection of pubs, wine bars and restaurants. Malham Cove made famous by the filming of scenes from Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows is 4 miles away with amazing views across the Dales. The Yorkshire Dales National Park provides unlimited hiking and cycling. For the more adventurous cyclists there is Gisburn Forest providing different levels of trails.
    This is the room at the top of our home and we would love to welcome you here. We are located in the lovely village of Gargrave situated on the path of the Pennine Way.
    Gargrave is a small village but we have the river that runs through as does the Leeds Liverpool canal which provides short walks . There are also a couple of local pubs providing homemade pub meals there is also an excellent award winning Indian restaurant.

    My top-floor luxury apartment offers a clean, modern, cosy, and convenient base for business or holidaying in Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. Firth Mills is an historic converted textile mill located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes walk from Skipton's bustling market high street, dozens of cafes, restaurants, shops, and the medieval castle.
    The apartment is stylish and modern yet also cosy. You'll be able to start the day with a waterfall shower and complementary tea, coffee, and fresh milk. Any planning you'd like to do can be easy with the WiFi, and you'll hopefully feel right at home with the full use of my kitchen, dining area, and balcony. TV with freeview, Amazon Prime, and Netflix will also give you plenty of choice for any chilled-out evenings. The tall headboard of the bed provides you the option to put your feet up and read after what I hope will be a lovely day spent exploring Skipton and beyond! You are also welcome to use my gym equipment in the upstairs mezzanine.
    Residents of the mill are generally very quiet and only heard when passing through the corridor. Whilst not silent, the local environment is generally quiet with only light traffic and morning birdsong being noteworthy.     The Hideaway is a very unique little cabin which is a bit back to basics with a few treats thrown in. You have your own private fenced off area containing a BBQ/firepit. Inside you will find a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster, a wonderful log burning stove and even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to welcome you. ONE well behaved SMALL dog can stay, too, sorry, its not big enough to host a large dog as its a small area (certain rules apply,please message us to discuss).
    Situated in the beautiful village of Lothersdale, Lakeside Hideaway is a glamping cabin at Raygill Lakes. A wonderful escape from reality, perfect for a couple's mini break or maybe a writer's or artist's retreat, its very peaceful. There is a cafe/ Bar on site if you dont fancy cooking for yourself (weekends only unless by prior arrangement). it’s all you need to relax and unwind in the countryside. We are dog friendly. 1 well behaved SMALL pooch welcome (it isnt big enough for a large dog). There's even a bed for your dog unless you want to bring their own. You’ll get a complimentary bottle of fizz and nibbles on arrival. The toilets are a 50 metre walk away from The Hideaway at the cafe/bar. We are yet to install a shower block in the next couple of months but toilets and washing facilities are here. As it’s a glamping cabin we provide means to cook with, a log burning fire with stove top and mini oven and an outdoor bbq/firepit, we also have a kettle and toaster in the cabin along with utensils, cutlery, glassware and mugs. We recommend bringing your own wash towels and toiletries and, as there is no running water in the Hideaway we will supply you with bottled water for drinking for your stay and there is a washing up sink at the lodge. You have a key for the toilet/wash facilities which you can access any time during your stay. Bring your fishing tackle and have a go whilst you're here. There's a fishing peg included at the Hideaway (rules apply). Lothersdale/Raygill has no mobile phone signal but WiFi is now available at The Hideaway (fingers crossed). It is a truly unique accommodation that we are sure you will love.
    Raygill is a very important area of geological interest. It is an old limestone quarry that has been tended to and cared for by its owners for the last 30 years and now it is an area of natural beauty and the wildlife is abundant. The Lakeside Cafe & Bar are in the Fishery Lodge just a short walk away from you if you want food and drink (open weekends only unless arrangements are made by yourselves and the owner) but if you fancy a stroll into the village 1 mile away you will find The Hare and Hounds pub. They serve good ales and food all day, every day.

  • Altamente raccomandato. Il nostro soggiorno al Lothersdale era tutto ciò che avremmo potuto sperare. I proprietari sono molto disponibili e accoglienti e la cabina è incantevole. L'ambiente è fantastico e la gente del posto era molto accogliente al bar in loco (dove il cibo era eccezionale). L'area chiusa intorno alla cabina era ottima per il nostro cane. Penso che torneremo presto.

    Crag Wood View has everything you could need for your stay in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The tiny house is comprised of a garden room (bedroom/living room), next to which is a SEPARATE building housing the kitchen/shower room. The house is situated in a private, secluded and quiet area behind our home in a garden that attracts wildlife all year round. Blinds are pulled down over the two windows at the rear of our house ensuring complete privacy for both hosts and guests during your stay.
    A totally one-off type of self-catering accommodation with a modern and minimal set up, yet still retaining a traditional and cosy vibe. Very quirky and original. Easy to walk around, use and enjoy, as all guest areas are on ground level. We are fortunate to live on the edge of the village, which is so much quieter than the centre - only a 5 minute walk when you need something, but peace, quiet and relaxation when you don't! The tiny house has a fully fitted and modern kitchen with all of the equipment you could ever need for dining, including a Cafetière for that important morning coffee. The property is ideal for longer stays as there is a massive freezer and two fridges for storing lots of food/drink as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer to keep on top of your laundry. We have Netflix and Freeview TV available on a flat screen ‘smart’ TV for guests to enjoy during their stay as well as free Wi-Fi to use, playing cards and board game. For those who enjoy listening to the radio we have a DAB radio alarm clock with USB charging ports (as well as a multi-plug extension lead with USB charging ports). You can also pick up many radio stations on the TV as well as plenty of apps including YouTube. The TV also has ports for plugging in either a USB stick or external hard drive if you like to bring your own entertainment with you when you travel. Also provided are portable and waterproof bluetooth speakers for you to connect to and use, perfect for listening to in the shower room, whilst cooking in the kitchen or out in the garden. There is a gym that is only a 5 minute walk (0.2 miles) away from the tiny house (£5 for a day pass or £20 for a weekly pass), a Co-Op supermarket for all of your essentials, pharmacy, dentists, 3 pubs in the village offering excellent food and drink, a fantastic Fish & Chip shop (which is a takeaway and a restaurant combined), an Indian restaurant and the cyclist's favourite -> The Dalesman Cafe and Sweet Emporium, who offer breakfasts (including a full English), lite bites and many, many old fashioned sweets as well as their famous 'Flat Rascal'! (As seen on C5's 'Celebrity Britain by Barge'). In the village we also have a couple of hairdressers, a florists, antique shops, clothes shop, a bicycle repair shop and a tandem bicycle shop. We're only 3 miles away from The Coniston Hotel and so an ideal place for wedding guests to stay or for anybody visiting the Coniston for any of their events or wishing to use their spa facilities - they offer a great 4x4 'off-road' experience which we would highly recommend having a go at! We're 4 miles away from the market town of Skipton (very direct and easy to get to by private or public transport) with its wonderfully preserved medieval Castle, eclectic mix of shops, markets, swimming pool, cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, supermarkets and vintage Plaza Cinema. Crag Wood View is a great place to stay, the perfect base for a visit to the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, the Lake District or industrial West Yorkshire. You won't find anywhere else quite like it!
    Gargrave is a peaceful village on the edge of the Dales, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, a typically Yorkshire rural retreat with friendly locals, amazing 'Instagram worthy' scenery and an expansive network of cycling roads, public footpaths and walkways for you to enjoy.

  • Ottimo posto dove stare, estremamente privato e non si sente invadente anche se la sistemazione sul retro della proprietà dei proprietari. Piccoli tocchi adorabili e omaggi all'arrivo e ogni elemento immaginabile nei cassetti o negli armadi della cucina non è necessario portare nulla. La sistemazione è perfettamente pulita e molto ben pensata e grande attenzione ai dettagli. Ci torneremo sicuramente e consiglierei questo posto ad amici e parenti. Molto bene !

  • Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana davvero incantevole a casa piccola! La cucina ha tutti gli utensili, le spezie, il tè e il caffè e Dawn ha persino comprato delle chicche extra per noi che era così premuroso! È molto pulito e confortevole. Abbiamo utilizzato il WiFi, Netflix e il gioco da tavolo. Abbiamo guidato fino a Skipton e Malham ed è stato un viaggio molto veloce, quindi ottima posizione. Fuga perfetta per un weekend rilassante! Consiglio vivamente!

Splendida vista sul giardino. Dawn & Phil erano adorabili e c'erano se ne avessi bisogno. Era un luogo perfetto per il nuoto selvaggio.

Beautiful walks/cycling. Near Weets, Pendle Hill, Yorkshire Dales, Canal, Lakes, Manchester, Leeds. Pool, parks, playgrounds in town. Enjoy, Relax, get some fresh air.
    The house is tastefully decorated with cosy fires, wifi, views and garden, spacious rooms, comfy beds, central heating and clean. it has an uptodate safety checks. 93 square metres. This is the largest house on Airbnb currently at this price. There are 2 reception rooms. There are panoramic views from the back of the house. There is a terrace area to sit out and a garden for BBQs in the Summer. The garden is covered in hanging baskets in Summer. The attics is especially large with 2 double beds and a single. The house is at the bottom of Weets Hill with easy walking distance to the fields and open countryside. The house is on a hill. It is just 5 minutes walk to the cafes, quaint shops, pubs, restaurants and the town square. Sorry not accessible for people who cannot climb stairs unaided. Also not for children who need safety locks and fire guards. NO PETS. NO DRIVE must be able to park on a hill. THE TV IS FREE SAT. Small galley kitchen with washer, oven and fridge. Hoover and iron available on request.
    There are beautiful countryside, quaint shops, cosy pubs, lots of walking and fresh air. There are many local walks taking in the canal, locks and Medieval Church. Barnoldswick also has bars with live music on weekends and a leisure centre with swimming pools and gym. There is easy access to historic the Dales, Skipton, Clitheroe and not far from the Lakes, Leeds and Manchester. In Summer there are free activities for children, like the Barlick Beach in the town square and lots of parks and play areas.

    The flat overlooks the Leeds/Liverpool canal. A relaxing place to sit and watch the boats and wildlife on the water with easy access to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Only a 15 minute walk on the towpath takes you to Skipton with its abundance of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars as well as the famous market which is held 4 days a week. An early check-in and/or a late check-out can be arranged subject to availability. Netflix is accessible with my log-in details - no need for our own.
    There is a drop leaf table and 4 dining chairs for a better dining experience. For maximum comfort the sofa bed is only really suitable for one adult or two children - although some guests choose to use it for 2 adults.
    There are plenty of walks directly from the flat - 20/30 minutes walk along the canal towpath to Skipton Castle Woods. The Boathouse Bar in the canal basin is our favourite watering hole and the Sound Bar is brilliant for music and a vibrant atmosphere. Lots of choice for good restaurants and take-aways. Tesco, Morrisons, M&S food hall and Aldi are all nearby as well as a plethora of independent bakeries and butchers shops. Lots more information in the flat.

Situated in the centre of Gargrave village near the river and on the edge of the rugged and beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park . Perfect for exploring the area, a stones throw from the Pennine Way, only 10 minutes walk from the train station and canal. Complimentary Au Lait toiletries. Well behaved doggies welcome.
    Cosy open plan bespoke country kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and fridge, dining area and lounge with exposed stone walls and cobbled courtyard with parking to outside. Bespoke oak staircase takes you to stunning light and airy bedroom with exposed roof beams and ensuite marble bathroom
    Gargrave really is in a great position, on the Pennine way and on the edge of the fabulous Dales but not too far away from anything you might need, even Michelin star restaurants (yes they do exist outside London !) For the antique hunters out there (and we love everything 18th century) there are three very good antique shops in Gargrave. There is a fantastic farm shop with fabulous meat and veg only 5 minutes away, and the best cheese shop ever, 20 mins up the road towards Cumbria which itself is only just over an hours drive. For those wishing to leave the cooking and get hot and spicy there is an award winning Indian restaurant only 4 doors away. For the gourmands we have some fantastic fine dining experiences close by, with the very nice Angel at Hetton (8 min drive) which has recently been taken over by 2 Michelin * chef Michael Wignall from Gidleigh Park, the superb Burlington at the Devonshire Arms Bolton Abbey (15 min drive and which deserves a Michelin * ! ) and the Michelin * White Swan a little further at Fence (30 min) . If you want to go down the traditional route there are two cracking real Yorkshire pubs serving good Yorkshire ale and pub food and a good fish and chip shop only a 5 minute stroll away. Fancy a good old English breakfast then we have a nice little cafe at the end of the road. The River Aire is just a stones throw where you can skip across the stepping stones and have a picnic by the river. We are not too far away from the beautiful Bolton Abbey (with super walks by the river), the Pendle witches, Bronte country and Boundary Mill for great bargains for the shopaholics !

    We have a lovely home in a semi-rural position close to both the Trough of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and the lovely Lancashire countryside. Our home would be perfect for a professional lady or gent requiring accomodation whilst spending time on business in the area or simply for someone looking to explore. The bedroom consists of a small double bed,t.v., ensuite shower room, wi-fi etc. Office space is available in the home if required and we are happy to share our kitchen/diner for breakfast.
    Martin, my husband and myself are looking forward to welcoming guests to our home as now the children are grown and not around as much we have space to fill. We have decorated and furnished to a high standard and are sure you will have a comfortable stay.
    Several good pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes of the property. Although we are surrounded by lovely countryside we have a good number of large employers in the area namely Rolls Royce, Weston’s, Country Holidays and Silentnight to name but a few.

    Overbeck is a cosy compact bungalow situated within the grounds of our home, in the pretty village of Bradley. The village has its own shop and pub serving great food. Overbeck is a short stroll away from the banks of the Leeds/Liverpool canal, with excellent walks to Skipton approx 2 miles away.
    Overbeck is a self contained bungalow and is a great base to visit Skipton and the dales. Skipton is easily accessible either on foot/bicycle, (2 miles along canal bank) or by bus which stops in the village.
    Bradley is a small pretty village 2 miles from Skipton. We have a shop that stocks most essentials and a great pub. The slaters arms serves really good food and has a large patio area, the locals are very friendly!

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Guests will also have sole use of the downstairs living room, where tea and coffee making facilities are provided, including a coffee machine. Continental breakfast is also available. Guests have access to TV in the guest lounge, DAB radio in the bedroom and free WiFi throughout the house. In addition, there are powered USB sockets at either side of the bed for charging your phones, tablets etc. Towels and bathrobes are provided. The bathroom (shared with the hosts) has a shower with an ‘ionic ‘shower head, and a bath.
    Skipton is very well served with pubs, cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. The hosts are happy to make recommendations based on individual preferences.

    Barnoldswick is located between the Ribble Valley, the district of Pendle and the Yorkshire Dales. Its a smallish town with enough shops and not overly busy. There are great walks locally as well as easy access by car to the surrounding areas. This house is part of 19th century terraces for mill workers. Built very solidly, no noise problem through the walls. Generally a family, working- and middle-class area.

    Our riverside cottage is on the River Aire in a quiet Yorkshire village near Skipton. It is a haven for wildlife and recently otters have been sighted in the river. Ideally placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. In addition to the river, Gargrave is on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and the Pennine Way. The village has two good pubs, a lovely tea room, a fish and chip shop, a local CoOp and several antique shops. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and anyone who enjoys a break in the country.
    The cottage is near the village green and through an archway. Tea and coffee is provided.Small well behaved dogs are welcome. Please let us know if you intend to bring a canine friend. There is a returnable cleaning deposit of £20.
    The Old Swan provides a friendly welcome and a good dining menu. There is a quaint tearoom and even an Indian restaurant. All are within easy walking distance.

    Poppy Cottage No. 1 is a superb one-bedroom cottage with a fabulous private hot tub. Ideal for couples and located in the beautiful rural setting of Carleton, just 2 miles from the historic market town of Skipton. The cottage has been converted from what was the original barn to Ivy Cottage Farm and is ideally located for those wanting to explore this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. Carleton has a village store, village pub serving food and lovely walks around the village and into town.
    Poppy Cottage No. 1 is a stylish one-bedroom cottage; built and created from the original barn to Ivy Cottage Farm, sadly no longer a working farm yet surrounded by glorious open countryside and views of the hills and moors. The ideal place for those who want a 'quiet retreat' to relax and unwind and soak away the stresses of daily life in the superb hot-tub set in its own private south facing gardens/terrace with barbeque area. Internally the cottage has a bright and airy L-shaped open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with wood burning stove in the sitting area with comfy settee and cuddle chair; along with a large flat screen TV with freeview channels; DVD player; a selection of DVDs provided and the TV is now fitted with a chromecast for all your streaming with the benefit of superfast wifi throughout the cottage. To the first floor, there is a large double bedroom with king-size wooden bed; stunning views from this room of the hills and countryside and across the small landing, the newly appointed bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower over; toilet and washbasin. Next door to Poppy No. 1 is Poppy Cottage No. 2, again a newly renovated cottage, converted from the original barn. This cottage sleeps up to 5 people and shares the same private courtyard and parking area. Booked together these two cottages can accommodate a group of up to 7 people and can be opened up internally when the connecting door is unlocked. Reassurance is given that both cottages are very private when booked individually.
    Carleton in Craven is an lovely Dales village on the outskirts of Skipton the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It has a lovely, local pub and village shop serving everything you may need during your stay. There is some fabulous scenery around the village and lovely walks along the river and into town.

    The Granary is set in the quiet village of Carleton just 2 miles from Skipton and was built in 2012 from Yorkshire stone to create an annexe to the original farmhouse, Ivy Cottage Farm. Sadly no longer a working farm, Ivy Cottage Farm is an original 17th Century Dales longhouse with open countryside to the rear and views of the hills. There are some lovely local walks from your doorstep and the village itself has a local pub serving; village shop/off license, and regular bus service into town.
    The Granary is a stylish, one bedroomed apartment/annexe, newly refurbished with underfloor heating. It is all on one level with just 3 steps from the communal entrance hall to its internal front door and has a very stylish and contemporary interior. The open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area has wonderful high ceilings with exposed wooden trusses and bi-folding doors look out and lead to the south facing, private decked patio where you have views of the garden, hills and countryside. In the one bedroom, the beds can be arranged either as twin beds or together to form a comfortable superking bed. This cosy little pad is ideal for couples and provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town. Skipton is very accessible from Carleton and is just a 5-minute drive away or easy level walk across open fields or by following the pavemented route along the road. Carleton itself has a few amenities; with the village pub, local store/off-licence, serving groceries, newspapers etc and is open 7 days a week; a phamacy and a Post Office. The village also has a regular bus service, Monday to Friday, for those who want to leave the car behind.
    Carleton is a lovely rural village with stunning views across the valley into Skipton known as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It is very typically Yorkshire and the fields surrounding the village are often full with sheep and cattle. The hills and moors which surround the village make a very colourful and scenic backdrop.

    Kissing Gate has been thoughtfully designed by turning an unused garage with bedroom above into a cosy, contemporary, comfortable, tiny cottage for two. It is almost detached, having its own roof but joined to our house by a shared utility room only. Guests have total privacy with their own entrance and internal locking door to the utility room.
    Guests enter through bespoke, painted, wooden, double glazed french doors into an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen space. Thermostatically controlled underfloor heating, as well as a wood burner for those extra cold nights, ensure that this space is cosy and warm at all times. Free WiFi is available throughout. The lounge area has a super comfy, part leather sofa and smart tv with FreeSat. The kitchen area is fully equipped with an induction hob, electric oven/ grill, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. In fact everything you would need to make life easy if you feel like cooking. The light filled wood and glass staircase takes you up to the landing from where you access the bedroom and bathroom. The window from the bedroom has the most amazing views across the Aire Valley. The room has a comfortable king bed with luxury white bed linen. The flue from the wood burner passes through this room, so as well as the radiator, if the fire is lit it will be super toasty in winter. The bathroom also has underfloor heating so cosy in all weathers. The towel rail works from the central heating but when this is turned off in summer, can also be heated by an electric element to dry towels. There is plenty of storage in the vanity sink unit and a large walk-in shower.
    Farnhill is a picturesque village, 3 miles from the market town of Skipton, gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. The Leeds Liverpool canal runs through the village and is a favourite with walkers, cyclists and holiday and live a board narrow boat users There are numerous varied walks available directly from Kissing Gate across moorland, the canal towpath, fields and riverside. Apart from the dog friendly White Lion pub 5 minutes walk away, it is possible to walk to the popular Gallagher Ale House in Crosshills and the picturesque Slaters Arms in Bradley, which is recommended for its beautiful pub garden and delicious food. Within 30 minutes drive of Farnhill is the spa town of Ilkley with its numerous independent and high end shops, Betty’s tea rooms and Ilkley Moor. Haworth, made famous by the Bronte sisters is well worth a visit as is Grassington, a picturesque village in the Yorkshire Dales. The nearest train station, in Cononley, is just one mile away. If you crave some city life it is a 30 minute journey to Leeds. In the other direction you can be in Skipton in 5 minutes and then travel on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway.
