Science Museum
“By far my favorite museum to visit. Admission to many of the museums in DC are free, which is great to save on the budget. There are also some great sections in this museum where you can interact with the science.”

Library
“ Not sure why it is being labeled as a library, but getting into the White House is only accessible through tours, which can be registered for online. However, if visitors would like to see the president’s residence from the outside, then it’s an easy walk down Pennsylvania Avenue NW between 15th St. NW and 17th St. NW. There, parties can take pictures with the White House in the backdrop and scream obscenities at, or praises for, Trump through the fence! ”

“This is one of my favorite museums. Located in Chinatown and easily accessible off the Chinatown Metro, this is a Smithsonian museum that is free to go to with thousands of portraits and landscapes from different times and different subjects with a regular turnover of exhibits. There is something new to see every time you go. ”

“Over four million people make their way to the vast National Museum of American History each year. No surprise, since the museum’s collection boasts more than three million objects that tell the American story. Among these, a few crowd favorites include the flag that inspired the “Star-Spangled Banner,” the Greensboro lunch counter, Julia Child’s kitchen, Dorothy’s ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz and Abraham Lincoln’s stovepipe hat.”

“One of history’s most important events, and one of its greatest tragedies, is the focus of this expansive museum. Learn the narrative of the Holocaust through artifacts, videos and personal stories in the Permanent Exhibition, and go deeper at special exhibitions such as Remember the Children: Daniel’s Story, recommended for kids ages 8 and up. Admission to the museum is free, but entry to the Permanent Exhibition is done via timed pass March through August – you can reserve online beforehand. Special exhibitions do not require a timed pass.”
