Good mountain biking terrain especially for more beginner-intermediate skill level Dogs are allowed, but leash laws are strictly enforced at this park. “One of nature's wonders, it's a must see while in Colorado Springs. We highly recommend going by bike or vintage scooter as parking is a challenge during the Summer months. You can rent a low-power scooter from Vintage Scooter Adventures which is located at The Garden of the Gods Trading Post, 324 Beckers Lane, Manitou Springs, CO. Fun times, great rates, wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend!”

“Great local hiking only 10-15 minutes away with many trails. We recommend Mt. Cutler for an easier hike. If you want more of a challenge, Mt. Muscoco is at the same trailhead Dogs are allowed! Leash laws are not as strictly enforced-just don't let your pup run wild!”

Pizzeria
“Pizza Restaurant • $$ • 4.5 star rating • 22 minute drive ——————————————————— WARNING It’s not everyone’s specialty, but this pizza is thin-crust and pizzas come in only one size. Although it’s thin, it’s packed with yummy flavors.”

Dog park
“A large 25 acre off-leash dog park perfect for letting you pups run wild! Pro-tip: bring a towel for your dog to lay on in the car as it's very easy for them to get dirty! Also, there is a section of the park dedicated for smaller sized dogs if you're nervous about other dogs bullying your small dog ”

“The crisp air and smell of the ponderosa pines give a distinctive feeling to this 385-acre regional park. There are spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range. The developed area, with turf playfields, tennis courts, playground, and two picnic pavilions were created in natural openings of the forest. ”
