    Coastal Haven is a modern house with 2 bedrooms and bath with overhead shower. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 2 overlooking the rear garden, has 3’ bunk beds. The sitting room features a hardwood floor with rug, 2 double sofas and a 40” TV with free Sky TV. The kitchen/diner has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a combi boiler. There is a pine dining table with 4 chairs. A high chair and travel cot are available on request.
    There is a sunny, secure, enclosed rear garden with outdoor furniture including a swing bench provided. A patio and 2 decks provide the perfect space for sunbathing and BBQs with a grassed area for children/pets to play on. Also available is a secure cycle store for at least 2 adult bikes. The house has a private side-driveway with room for 2 cars.
    Hornsea is a small coastal town on the East Coast of Yorkshire. There is a 1.8 mile stretch of peaceful, blue flag beach made up of sand and shingle with a quaint promenade. Hornsea Mere is the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire with a cafe, opportunity for sailing and watching over 250 species of birds. The town also marks the eastern end of the Trans-Pennine Trail suitable for cycling and hiking. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions in Hornsea. Visit in July for the annual carnival and August for the Hornsea Bike Event featuring a popular motorcycle parade. Hornsea Freeport has a variety of outlet stores. There are also a range of small independent shops, bars and restaurants. Tesco is 0.6m away. Other facilities include the Golf Club, indoor bowls and the Floral Hall. Honeysuckle Farm is a family friendly attraction featuring a range of farm & small animals which is popular with children. Mr Moos ice cream is 5.6 miles away. Nearby is the historic market town of Beverley with its famous Minister and markets on a Wednesday and Saturday. Hull, the City of Culture for 2017-21 is home to a perfect mix of shopping, attractions/museums (many free) and nightlife.

Nothing is far away here: beach, beautiful Mere with birdlife, cafes. Lovely walks, cycling. Trans-Pennine Way. Great relaxing escape. Good access point for York, Beverley, Whitby, Hull (City of Culture 2017). I love cooking so there is an option of a 2/3 course dinner. Menu by request and to book the day before
    You will have sole use of the top floor, whether your are one guest or five, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. 2 guests sharing a room pay £70 per night. Extra guests, or extra room for second person incurs an extra £25 per person/per bed, per night. The apartment is very spacious and has a comfortable sitting room with TV, dining table and chairs
    There is a communal garden opposite the house and a large park around the corner. There are several excellent cafes, restaurants and bars within a short walk. The Floral Hall provides regular entertainment, including film and comedy nights, and live music throughout the year

    Our cosy caravan is perfect for the winter months with its gas fire and heating and fun for the summer with all of the park facilities available to enjoy. It is 6 berth with 2 bedrooms and has a good size bathroom and living area. Skipsea is a great location for exploring the Yorkshire coastline.

    Delightful Victorian property, virtually on the seafront! Huge house with bags of character within keeping of the era, within walking distance of the town and all its amenities. Family house with shared facilities, breakfast inc', on street parking and free WiFi.
    Lovely period property with cosy bedroom overlooking the garden. Hypnos double bed, tea making facility in the room too. Free WiFi.
    Being so close to the seafront but lovely country walks only minutes away too. The corner shop is handy and the local eateries are all in walking distance. Parking is on street.

Across the road is the village playpark.
    The house is extremely homely, and we invite visitors to make themselves at home! The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans so you can cook as you would at home.
    The Meadows is a beautiful four bed detached family house. It is positioned on a very quiet street, just a two minute walk from the heart of the village.

There is a shower room with wc in the annex , use of our conservatory with TV , although all 3 bedrooms have their own tvs in them. There is a fridge provided . A continental breakfast is served in the conservatory should you wish for one at £5 pppn .There are coffee/ tea making facility's and a hairdryer in the annex. Toiletries , towels etc are all included .

    If you are looking for a unique experience, or celebrating a special occasion then a stay in Mill Farm Shepherds Hut is for you, made in yorkshire with sheeps wool insulation and located on Mill Farm Country Park on the edge of Skipsea village.
    The shepherds hut nestles in the corner of Mill Farm Country Park with mature hedges behind. It makes an Ideal glamping holiday for two people visiting the area, or meeting up with friends and family who may be staying at Mill Farm Country Park with their own caravan, motorhome or tent. It has been well equipped and cleverly designed to give the maximum amount of space and storage, I provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk upon arrival. It is fitted out with a large double bed complete with linen and towels, wardrobe, large draw under the bed, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, radio and a heater, the fitted dresser is also kitted out with utensils, BBQ tools and crockery. Please note that the pictured bunting and fairy lights are extra, they are a one off payment of £6.00 each at the beginning of your stay please email me if you would like them. If you stay for three nights there is a discount of £7 for each further night, please note this does not apply at bank holidays.
    Three minutes walk along Mill Lane takes you into Skipsea village where there is a mini supermarket & Post Office, a hairdressers and there is drink available at the Board Inn. A short walk through the village leads you to All St Church which dates from 1090 and was compleatly rebuilt in the 14c. further on is Skipsea castle site (motte & bailey earth works only) which was built on an Iron age mound. On the edge of the village there is an ice cream parlour and tearoom. Twelve minutes walk in the other direction from the shepherds hut takes you to a view of the sea where on a clear day you can see Flambough Head and all the way to Spurn Point there are also fish & chips and amusements. Near by :- there is a golf course and pond fishing Other things in the area:- Hornsea Is 6 miles south of Skipsea Freeport for shopping, Hornsea Mere, fishing & boat hire, swimming at the leisure center,folk museum on the main street and Honeysuckle Animal Farm. The old railway line between Hornsea & Hull is now part of the Transpennine Trail. Bridlington is 9 miles north of Skipsea with a magnificent harbour, boat trips. Old town Priory & Bayle Gate museum. Sewerby Hall gardens & golf courses. Market day Wednesday Flambough Head is 17 miles from Skipsea Outstanding views & coastal walks. Bempton is 16 miles from Skipsea RSPB site.     Exclusive use of a single story converted Barn set in a very peaceful 15 acre private estate which you are free to roam. There are paddocks containing alpaca, sheep, chickens and a pony and also a woodland with a trail. The barn conversion comprises of a master bedroom with a king size bed, a second double bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with a separate shower and bath, a kitchen with dining table in a converted dovecote and a large lounge with gas fire and patio doors to a private garden.
    The cottage dates back to 1790 and is a converted piggery, encorporating a dovecote whiich is now the kictchen area with its characterful high ceiling. It is set in the middle of the farm surrounded by paddocks, trees and lawn. The lounge is spacious and very cosy with warm subtle lighting and a gas fire in the style of a log burner. The bedroom has full with windows across the back looking out into the private garden. There are also patio doors from the lounge to the garden. The estate itself was a working farm from 1790 up until around 1960 It was then bought and converted to a private residence and is now family owned. It expands to some 15 acres and has retained many of its traditional features including a working fresh water well the origonal barns and outbuildings. There is a world war two signalling bunker which was occupied and used by the home guard during the later stages of the war. It is located within the woodland area of the farm and can be visited but the entrance is currently sealed for safety reasons. It has attracted much interest from enthusiasts as it is quite rare. There are alpaca, sheep, chickens and a pony kept on the farm. You are encouraged to take time to wander around, take in the great outdoors and see the animals. If you wish to feed or enter the animal paddocks then please ask first as not all the animals are friendly. If you would like to feed the animals then you are invited to come along at feeding time. We ask that you do not feed them anything other than what is provided.

    Located in a Thankful Village, this barn conversion property holds a completely unique honour of hosting the lucky horseshoe plaque on which coins were fixed in both the first & second world wars for every man who served. They all returned and so render this lovely place with luck! A rare commodity in today's busy world.
    Catwick is one of those unique villages that was mentioned in the Domesday Book and has stayed relatively the same size for the last 600 year or so, undeveloped with mass housing, with a resident population of around 200 people! The Doubly Thankful Village of Catwick enjoys a unique status shared with just 12 other villages throughout the whole of the UK in that it has no War Memorial. Why? Because all the men who went to War in both the First & Second World Wars came back. 30 in the First World War and 30 in the Second World War. This is celebrated with the Catwick Plaque, as unique piece of social history, a photograph of which is displayed in the Cottage. Each man who went to war gave a coin to the resident Blacksmith at the Forge, who nailed it to the Plaque next to the "Lucky" horseshoe.     welcome to west view guest house. we offer a 3 bedroom family suite. 2 singles and 1 twin room. there is also a shower room within the family suite. we only let out to one family/group at a time so the whole space is yours.
    The family suite has 2 single bedrooms and 1 twin room. When you come to stay with us the whole annex is for your sole use so Ideal for the whole family. There is a shower room with wc in the annex , use of our conservatory with TV , although all 3 bedrooms have their own tvs in them. There is a fridge provided . A continental breakfast is served in the conservatory should you wish for one at £5 pppn .There are coffee/ tea making facility's and a hairdryer in the annex. Toiletries , towels etc are all included .
    Pretty village 3 miles from Hornsea . village pub serving evening meals (excluding Mondays) .
