It's an amazing deal, one of the best in SF, especially for those traveling for a short or extended time. You will fall in love with my historic Pacific Heights home and the unbelievable view. You will enjoy the large, open space and all the upgrades

Lo spazio
My beautiful home is available for a very attractive and low price for San Francisco. I hope you will treat it as you would your own home. I can only rent for minimum 30 days, due to the new rules. One caveat is that you must love plants and would be willing to water them weekly. For the visit in 2021, please book my home if you’d stay at minimum to January 9, so I could pick up my keys. Thank you!!

If you need to rent a space in the garage, please let me know and we could discuss it.

The Space: My home takes all the top floor of the historic Victorian building in the prestigious neighborhood of Pacific Heights. It was freshly painted and also upgraded with lots of storage space and free amenities like fast wifi, cable HD TV, the newest flat/curved screen TV (LG 55" Black UHD 4K OLED 3D Smart HDTV With WebOS 3.0 - OLED55E6P) with Netflix and HBO movies and Prime shows, with a brand new ASKO washer and dryer, dishwasher and many other things. It was redesigned by a well know San Francisco interior designer, Martin Group.

It's an amazing deal - you will fall in love with my Pacific Heights home and the unbelievable view or Japan Town, Twin Peaks and South San Francisco. It is very private and sunny. It is such a joy to be able to eat your meals at the dining room table and stare at the lights glowing on the roofs of the Victorian homes in the evening. You can even see Twin Peaks and Japan Town from my balcony. At night, the view is like a living picture – it’s a multitude of stars - it's very unique and you’ll never forget seeing it. My loft is very modern and beautiful with brand new light colored hard wood floors. It's freshly painted and fully furnished with Ligne Roset furniture, and gorgeous, original artwork.

Located on the top floor of a historic Victorian home in the heart of Pacific Heights (one of the most desirable neighborhoods in San Francisco), and one block from the nearest park, 3 blocks from the famous Fillmore Street and an easy walk to Union Street. Walking distance to the cable car stop on California street/Van Ness (4 blocks) and to the muni transport (bus). There is a nice and quiet garden where you can sit outside with a glass of wine. You can also enjoy sitting outside on my balcony, wrapped in a warm blanket (in winter) looking at the beautiful view.

Garage rental - You can rent my private garage (underneath the house) for an additional $300/month, as I would have to move my car out to another garage.

It's also walking distance to the Marina, Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. It's just 2 blocks away from Fillmore Street and 5 blocks (downhill) to Union Street (both streets are great for shopping and dining). Pacific Heights is safe and quiet- a great area for runners or yoga lovers (many great studios - let me know and I will point you in a right direction). If you like walking, you will enjoy the views, the neighborhood's great historic homes and its parks.
Fun shopping can be found on both Fillmore and Union Street as well as in Japan Town, 3 blocks to the south. There are cafes and restaurants of all kinds. Live music can be found every night on Fillmore Street - famous jazz at Yoshi's and then there's the legendary Fillmore Auditorium itself. If you love movies – go to the Sundance Kabuki - a unique movie theater where you can get a glass of wine or a beer and enjoy the newest movie of your choice. 5 minutes by cab or a 15 minutes walk will take you to the Civic Center to see the Opera, Symphony or Ballet. Bus 1 would take you to the Golden Gate Park, Presidio and museums (it stops 1 block from my house).
San Francisco is a fun city all year round. My beautiful condominium has a dryer, dishwasher, microwave stove and a very comfortable European-king size (it's a bit smaller than American King, but larger than American Queen) Ligne Roset bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress and two Tempur-Pedic pillows. Additionally the Ligne Roset Smala sofa (the off-white color sofa on the photos) opens flat to create a bed - it is an easy process to open it. It comfortably sleeps one person. I add a Tempur-Pedic topper to make it more comfy.
Thank you for reading about my home.

Have a great time visiting San Francisco and let me know how I can help.

Wireless High speed Internet SSID: Mishka. You will get the internet password upon your arrival.

This is my home, not just a place to rent. I only rent it out when I am out of the city, so I won't be able to interact much. I am climbing or traveling and I may be gone for a month. I will meet you and help you with your bags or how you around. I also can connect via email or telephone prior to your visit. I will also provide very clear instructions prior to your arrival.

I would be very grateful for guests with integrity who would respect my space, as well as my neighbors. It's a peaceful, and very clean place in one of the best neighborhoods in San Francisco. I'd like to do my best to provide you with all information and answer any of your questions prior to the arrival.

Please don't hesitate to email me. Thank you,

Pacific Heights is one of the nicest neighborhoods in San Francisco with lots of beautiful Victorian and Edwardian buildings. I fell in love with this area when I first visited San Francisco. So when I moved here I was laser focused on finding a home here. My home is located on a hill, so the view is amazing. The AirBnb listed my home as located in the Western Addition - it is NOT correct. That area starts south from Pine Street, which is the border of Pacific Heights. My home is up on the hill from Pine Street – it is located on California Street that belongs to Pacific Heights. It is a very nice walk from my home down to the bay – you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. It is my daily running route – to run on Pine Street down to Marina Greens and back up on Scott Street; you can also run through the neighborhood parks.

The neighborhood parks have been just recently renovated and are beautiful places to relax and recharge (there is a very large one just a block away from my home). My home is also located 3.5 blocks from the cable car stop - the last one on corner of California Street and Van Ness Street. Also there are a lot of MUNI buses close to my home - when we connect I can help you find the bus to get to the part of the city that you would like to visit. For example: bus 1 is just one block from my home and it takes you directly to either Presidio or Golden Gate Park. If you walk four blocks south to Geary Street or three blocks to Fillmore Street you will get several buses to get you where you want to go. I get a lot of questions how far is my home from the downtown, Union Square - it is only 20 minutes walking down on California Street followed by right (walking down) on Powell street – it is an easy, very straightforward walk. You can also take a taxi, a 5 minutes ride or 10-15 minutes cable car ride (as you wait for the car to show up and to start moving and it is relatively slowly, but it's a lot of fun to experience it).

The newest 2016 model of LG HD TV 55' - I have cable, with free Netflix and Amazon Prime and shows included in Xfinity TV package that guests would have access to it. If you'd like to buy movies via my Amazon Prime, you'd do it and just reimburse me with cash at the end of your stay. You also have fast wifi availability in the entire home.

Dove ti troverai

San Francisco, California, Stati Uniti

Pacific Heights is one of the nicest historic neighborhoods that is centrally located in San Francisco.
Walking distance to five grocery stores - three blocks to either Whole Foods (one the corner or California street and Franklin street) or Molly Stones (on California street, after you pass Fillmore street). To mor4 blocks to Trader Joe’s and two Safeway’s - I e south and one north from my home, 5 minutes drive. Also fun grocery Japanese supermarket - 3 blocks and another ethnic one - Woori, Korean market.

It’s a great place to hike and run. I usually run to the Bay and sometimes to the Golden Gate Bridge and back through Lyon Stairs. Very scenic route. There are lost of beautiful parks close to my home. The closest park is just a 1.5 blocks away - on Laguna and Sacramento street.

My home is located close to the famous Fillmore Street and an easy walk to Union Street. Both streets are a shopping heaven. Also there are many great restaurants walking distance from my home. Walking distance to the cable car stop on California street/Van Ness (4 blocks) and to the muni transport (bus - it is working, but you’d need to wear a mask). Also if you love arts - you can get quickly to to Civic Center - 5 minutes by cab or a 15 minutes walk to enjoy Jazz performances (in the newest Jazz Center), Opera, Symphony or Ballet. Also if you love nature - bus 1 can take you to the Golden Gate Park, Presidio and museums (it stops 1 block from my house).

Pacific Heights is one of the nicest neighborhoods in San Francisco with lots of beautiful Victorian and Edwardian buildings. You can easily visit Japan Town - a small, but interesting part of the city. That is what you see from my balcony. It's just three blocks away. I love walking and enjoying my neighborhood, I fell in love with this area when I first visited San Francisco. So when I moved here I was very focused on finding a home here. My home is located on a hill, so the view is amazing. I mentioned it in a description - the AirBnb listed my home as located in the Western Addition - it is NOT correct. The neighborhood parks have been just recently renovated and are beautiful places to relax and recharge (there is a very large one just a block away from my home).

Check out the Fillmore street – I personally love cafe/restaurants on Fillmore street, very down to earth neighborhood place on 2016 Fillmore Street, San Francisco as most do not need reservations. I love Akira Sushi on Bush street, no reservation and great quality, It’s fresh, not expensive and very casual. It’s locals’ hang out and you walk around 5 minutes from my home to it. Another great place that is walking distance from my home (call for a reservation or walk and add your name on a list) - State Bird Provisions on Fillmore Street, San Francisco, it’s more fancy, but their food is very good. It is very well rated. Another favorite sustainable sushi – Tataki on California street, San Francisco – I take their tools to go and it’s always worth it!1
enjoy the restaurants and Pacific Heights neighborhood.

I am a physician and I moved to US 21 years ago. I love what city has to offer and I feel very lucky and privileged to live in a beautiful and safe area of San Francisco called Pacific Heights. I am an avid mountaineer/climber and I travel usually once a year, for a month - long expedition trip. That is usually when I open the calendar in AirBnB for my apartment, as well as (separately) my garage. I'd like to rent my beautiful home to someone reliable for all the time when I am gone. The things I can't live without are my family, friends, mountains, my amazing home, nature, meditation and any kind of physical activity daily. My favorite travel destinations - to many to mention. I feel amazing in high altitude in mountains. I climbed all 7 Summits (including Mt.Everest), but all previous, as well as recent expeditions left me with amazing memories. My favorite books - too many to list here as I read a lot, but I love the most "Master and Margarita" by Michail Bulhakov. There are many books in my home, so if you have time feel free to read something new. I switched now to ebooks or audiobooks, as it doesn't take any physical space. My favorite food is prepared with local and organic ingredients - check out many restaurants on Fillmore street - you will have so many to choose from, even after Pandemic year. I love sushi and the best sushi in the city is a walking distance from my home - check out Tataki restaurant (on California street/Divisadero street) - amazing and fresh! I travel a lot for business - Marriott hotels, but for fun - I prefer staying in a tent at the high altitude or in a cool Airbnb in different cities, all over the world. My motto in life is to live largely, as w ok as “on the edge of my comfort zone", hence climbing expeditions, polar expeditions and now posting my home at Airbnb website. Throughout the process of renting my home I learn that my HOA’s CC&Rs (Homeowners Rules) do not allow for any short term rentals and I can only rent it for a month or longer. My modern apartment is located on the top floor of the beautiful Victorian (freshly painted) building (originally from 1896). I have the best view as well as complete privacy in my home. I live green plants in my home and in my balcony. I’ll be very grateful if you’d water it once a week to keep it lush and green. So far, I had wonderful guests from all over the world for the last 8 years. Please feel free to ask me any questions before you send a reservation. I look forward to meeting you and to host you in my home. Thank you.
