Have a great holiday, staying at the Villa with No Stress set in the stunning scenery of the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e CostaVicentina. Fantastic beaches, mountains and unspoilt towns - Europe at its best, but without the crowds!

Come and relax at Villa-Sem-Estresse (Villa Without Stress). Our rooms are all unique, decorated in our own style and inspired by our travels. Our villa is peaceful and quiet, near to stunning sandy beaches, views of the mountains, ideal for couples, families or friends wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our villa is located on the western coast of the Algarve, within the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina. This is the perfect base from which you can explore the stunning beaches, surf, ancient towns, beautiful national park, wildlife, bike trails and the Rota Vicentina long distance walking route. The 18th century old town of Aljezur is nearby, situated in a lush, green, fertile valley, well known for its sweet potato crops. We are minutes by car away from the beautiful beaches of Monte Clerigo, Arrifana, and Amoreira. Slightly further away to our north are the other stunning beaches of Carriagem, Vale Dos Homens, Salmouqueria, Quebrada and Odeceixe. Again close by to the south are the superb beaches of Canal, Vale Figueiras, Bordeira and Amado.

Villa-Sem-Estresse has been fully refurbished for the 2015 summer season. All of the bathrooms have been re-tiled, re-fitted with modern bathroom suites and new marble bases. We have painted every room throughout the house and refurbished the rooms with new electric sockets, hot water system and gas boiler fully compliant with the current regulations. We have 4 bedrooms, a private swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen and a modern lounge. We have a large garden to the front and the rear of our house featuring a swimming pool and an outdoor cooking / dining area with BBQ. We have several outside seated areas, both in the sun and with plenty of shade.

This room is on the first floor and has it's own private part of the balcony where it is wonderful to sit, relax and watch the sun set. This bedroom shares a bathroom with another of our rooms (Villa-Sem-Estresse Double/Twin 1). This bathroom is only for our guests staying in either of these rooms and it is located across the corridor from the door to your room. The shared bathroom has both a bath and a new walk-in shower.

Each of the bedrooms has new hotel standard beds, mattresses and headboards which can be configured as either a super-king size double bed or as 2 single beds. We provide bed linen and bathroom towels for each room as well as wardrobe storage incorporating a guest configurable combination safe and a hairdryer.

This part of Portugal is simply stunning! The UK newspaper the Guardian recently described it as one of the 10 best destinations in Europe for a family holiday (19th April 2015).

This region has also been recently described in the media as "Part Tuscan Rural Idyll, Part Australian Outback and Part Breton Coastline" - living here we can fully agree to this and in fact this spectacular, unspoilt landscape is the reason we live here.

Aljezur is a fantastic traditional Portuguese small town which is the centre for the many small communities in the area. Here you will find amazing, friendly Portuguese people as well as people from many other countries.

My wife, Sarah and I live in Vale da Telha, Aljezur, Portugal where we run a B&B Villa-Sem-Estresse. I used to work as a Broadband Network Designer and as a Project Manager with BT in the UK and Sarah has taught PE (Sport) at high schools in the UK. We both love the outdoor lifestyle - particularly into kayaking and tennis. We are also big sports fans and watch most sports. We are also into photography, listening to live music, travelling and eating great food. We are both extremely laid back. Aljezur and the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e CostaVicentina is one of the best places in the world to live - sunshine, stunning scenery and beaches and fantastic friendly people.

At least one of us will be available to advise our guests on the many beautiful beaches and places to visit as well as the varied activities available in the local area (for example hiring of surfboards/wetsuits and lessons, horse riding, mountain biking, tennis and walking the Rota Vicentina.

Both Sarah and I love great food and we can advise on the many bars and restaurants in the local area. There are 3 great bar/ restaurants and a small supermarket 5 mins walk from our house.

In the morning breakfast will be served in the garden from 8:30 am to 10.00am with a choice of Local Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, Milk, Coffee (espresso, cappuchino, latte, americano, flat white etc),
assorted Teas, a choice of Jams / Local Honey with our varied Homemade Bread, and Cereal/Museli. Fresh fruit, Greek Yoghurt additionally available for bookings in July and August.
