Our charming villa is nestled on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of Vedado, Havana's cultural centre and one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. It's perfectly located if you love it quiet and with nature around but still directly in town, just a few houses down from the main road in the center of Vedado (23rd St - La Rampa) with many restaurants, music venues, and entertainment nightspots. A very short walk to Malecón and Hotel Nacional, and a 5-minute drive from Old Havana.

Lo spazio
Villa Diego is situated on quiet tree-lined street in a residential area of Vedado (the downtown sector of Havana and one the city’s most vibrant and beautiful neighbourhoods). The house has 3 bedrooms where we can accommodate 6 guests. Also you can enjoy the private garden at the front and the interior courtyard at the back.

Our home amenities include: air conditioning, ceiling fans, hot and cold running water, TV, laundry service, refrigerator, freezer, telephone, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen with all utensils, etc. Towels and linen are provided daily. Wheelchair accessible. You will have access to the entire house and 24 hours a person can be contacted if you need something.

Accesso per gli ospiti
The house is completely private for the use of registered guests only. You will be asked to provide identification (passport) on arrival and sign in. These steps are in keeping with Cuban government policy. You will have your own keys to the apartment for your stay. These keys must be returned at check-out.

Check-in and check-out: Sachea the managers of the property will meet you to check you in and get you settled, and then again when you check out at the end of your stay, so we'll need your arrival and departure information. We ask that you give us the maximum notice possible if there's a change in your scheduled arrival or departure (e.g., a flight change). Also, please cooperate with the set check-out times so we can prepare for the next guests. However, if you would like some flexibility in check-in or check-out times, please make any such request in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate everyone (outgoing and incoming guests).

Altre cose da tenere a mente
Open your eyes and wake up to courtyard surrounded by the colonial spirit of the island, smell the fresh Cuban coffee and warm milk, “café con leche” as Cubans families call it, with delicious Cuban sugar. Enjoy tropical fruits and homemade juices. After that, walk along the MALECON breath in the fresh clean sea breeze. Our secret: the Cuban homemade dinner prepared by our chef !! you can taste and learn about modern Cuban gastronomy in the setting of a chic Cuban home. Stories and smiles flow easy with some food & cocktails.

La Habana, Cuba

Vedado, with its sprawling layout, sumptuous mansions, and sense of 1950s middle-class Havana arrested, couldn’t be more different from Habana Vieja or Centro Habana. While Old Havana is bursting at the seams with cobbled plazas and narrow streets fringed by museums and stunning colonial architecture, Vedado exudes an aura of cosmopolitan mid-20th century elegance.

Most people consider Vedado to be the downtown sector of Havana. It’s bordered by the Havana Malecon (seawall) which is a fantastic night spot where habaneros gather almost every night to party. The main street running east to west is Calle 23, also known as "La Rampa". Villa Diego is just four blocks from Malecon and one block from La Rampa.

If you really want to get to know Cuban culture, without leaving Havana, your best bet is to experience Vedado. It’s a more modern and affluent neighborhood, but still packed with bars, restaurants, music venues and, best of all, regular Cubans. There are hundreds of fun things to do in Vedado, and I will list some of my top favourite ones below.

- Head to the Malecón. It’s where we hang out the most. On this five-mile stretch of seawall along the Havana coast, you'll see people eating, drinking, playing music, and people-watching to pass the time with family and friends. Just grab a beer and start chatting!

- Sip a mojito and enjoy the ocean view from the gardens of the Hotel Nacional, where Frank Sinatra sang to Lucky Luciano during the Christmas of 1946. Undoubtedly, the best ocean view in Havana

- Walk along 23rd street (La Rampa)

- Sit and relax watching a sunset from the Malecón

- Enjoy a delicious cuban meal at a Paladar. Many paladares in Vedado are situated in colonial mansions with lovely breezy porches. We highly suggest: "Mediterraneo restaurant" & "Cafe Lauren".

- Get in the backseat of a classic car. You can take a 30-minute to an hour tour, and the driver will typically ask you what you’d like to see. A great place to hop in one of these classic cars is in front of The Hotel Nacional, where like a bag of Skittles, you can pick any color car you want.

- Go up on the roof. There is nothing better than sipping on a cuban cocktail or local beer at sunset from above the cityscapes. The best city view is from bar La Torre on the top floor of the FOCSA tower, the tallest building in Havana.

- Spend a jazz night listening to Roberto Fonseca at La Zorra y El Cuervo. Located on La Rampa, this is the meeting point for many of the island’s most talented musicians
