Fall asleep on the Queen size Casper mattress (photos haven't been updated yet) with down pillows and duvet with 100% cotton sheets. The house has Vancouver's highest EnerGuide rating for a single family home (EG92) and was featured in VancouverHOME magazine's spring 2015 issue. Triple glazed windows, hybrid construction walls, and radiant floor heating keep temperatures toasty in the colder months, while the room's air conditioning system keeps you cool during Vancouver's warm summer days. Solar panels on the roof help offset the house's energy consumption. The room's built-in fire suppression system ensures your absolute safety. Ample free, no restriction street parking is available all around the house for your vehicle or rental car. The wifi has the fastest download/upload speed currently available in Vancouver. A 3.3 cu. ft. Danby mini-fridge (no freezer) is in the room for your drinks and snacks along with a microwave oven for heating up your takeout. Instant coffee, tea, and water kettle are provided for your morning pick-me-up.

Hi I'm Louis. During the day I'm a conference manager for the Vancouver Public Library. Aside from running the family home's new Airbnb space, I'm also an avid traveller. In 2017 I spent three weeks backpacking through Chile and another two in South Korea. In the last couple years I've been to Portugal, Spain, Morocco, China, Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. In the winters I try to ski up at Whistler as much as I can, at least every other weekend. In the summers I play on my ultimate frisbee team and we attend casual tournaments around the province. This year I've started biking to work and all over town, which I regret not getting into earlier, it's a great way to explore the city. I've also been learning a lot of DIY woodworking and home maintenance skills. If you plan on visiting our beautiful city, I would love to be your host!

Minimal interaction, I live in the suite next door. The entire Airbnb room is surrounded by floor to ceiling OSB plywood behind the drywall, ensuring optimal soundproofing.
