Informazioni sull'alloggio di Michael

The largest and most grandiose of the Stewart Suites, this 1.5 bath penthouse is masterfully carved into the top two floors of this historic building.
A diamond plated industrial steel spiral staircase leads thru a two story brick walled gallery to a bath and two bedrooms with a queen size traditional bed and a luxurious memory foam queen size bed.
Large kitchen and great room with an open concept, there is plenty of room to sit back and relax or have breakfast at the dining room table.e

Lo spazio
Winner of the Morton House Museum's Historical Preservation Award after it's restoration, the 1905 Stewart Building is a real treasure of Benton Harbor.

Originally the home to stores such as The Central Music House, Harbor Furniture House, and an Army and Navy store, it eventually became the first in a list of taverns in 1946 until the massive restoration project in 1999 and becoming Paulie's Bar And Grille and later The Library Pub and Eatery. Now new entrepreneurs are hard at work getting a new restaurant ready to open in this historic space.

A wide assortment of breakfast and snack foods are included and stocked in the kitchen, refrigerator and freezer for your pleasure.
-Coffees, kcups, teas, sweeteners and flavored creamers
-Eggs, bacon, sausage
-Waffles, Poptarts, Oatmeals
-Bagels, English Muffins, butter, cream cheese, jelly
-Popcorn, chocolates, candy

It has always had apartments above it's businesses but now you have a chance to go back in time and experience life as a Benton Harbor resident yourself but with all the modern amenities today has to offer. High speed Comcast Business Class WIFI, laundry facilities on both floors, (shared and in both hallways), intercom and door buzzer, dishwasher, individual central AC/heat and of course plush full bathrooms make going back in time much more pleasurable.

Architectural details really make the spaces magical with hand worked Victorian era tin and paints from one of the few remaining old world metalsmith shops and Cherry trim and Oak floors balance beautifully with the exposed brick walls. Repurposed WWII era Naval windows that open so wide it's like being outside offer fantastic views of the parks and boutique stores in the Arts District.

Dove ti troverai

Benton Harbor, Michigan, Stati Uniti

The Arts District of Benton Harbor is a blooming array of some of the best the area has to offer. Fantastic restaurants such as Mason Jar Cafe, Forte Coffee, Houndstooth Restaurant, The Livery, Larks BBQ, Sweenies Weenies, Happy Poochie, Chatterbox and more are sure to please any palate. Eclectic boutique shops such as Three Pillars Music, a vintage record store are great places to find something unique to bring home. World class Harbor Shores Golf course is within sight, home of many SPGA championships, and also Pipestone Indoor Golf. Countless artists and their galleries seemingly around every corner, including Richard Hunt Studios and Waterstreet Glassworks where you can learn the art of glass blowing in a one day class. The Livery which is an anchor establishment of the Arts District as well as the Stewart Building has been making famous beers long before it was popular in the region. With regular events such as Art Hops, Loft Hops, Artoberfest and regular concerts at The Livery, there is always something new and exciting going on. There are also around a dozen beaches within a 5-15 minute drive.

Originally from the Windy City my family moved us to their vacation spot as a child and I grew up in the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area. Working in restaurants and hotels my whole life the hospitality industry is second nature to me. To own my own little hotel is like a dream come true! I now manage two new venues in the Arts District, Hawks Nest At The Harbor and Secret Garden At The Harbor.
