The home is located in Manzanita Village, a cohousing community, 1 mile from downtown Prescott. There are great views of Thumb Butte and Granite mts from the common area and deck. I often see deer in the ravine below the house.
The bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shower.
For breakfast coffee, tea, cereals, bread and fruit are provided.
There are wonderful hiking trails within 5 miles of the Village. Kayaking is available on Watson Lake for a fee.
This is a vegetarian home.

The sun room(Arizona Room) and the open deck are great places to relax and watch the sunset.
Grand Canyon is about 2 hours drive from my home.
Lots of hiking trails in the Dells around Watson Lake.

Manzanita Village is a friendly cohousing community. It is a bout one mile from downtown Prescott. It is made up of 35 individual homes on 13 acres of land. Jacob Lane is mostly a pedestrian lane and parking is about 150 ft away on Benjamin Drive. One is allowed to park for short time in front of a home to load or unload. We know all our neighbors very well. We have one communal meal a week in the Common House (Club House). No smoking is allowed on the 13 acre property. Smoker would have to walk 200 ft to smoke on city road. There are great views of several mts and hills around Prescott.Sunsets can be gorgeous.

I am originally from Kenya. I came to the US in 1969. I spent 21 years in the midwest, 19 years in Hawaii and have been in Prescott since 2010.
I have always loved outdoors. I have traveled to almost 20 National Parks. I love hiking the trails around Prescott. This is a vegetarian household. You can bring food from outside to eat. Just not allowed to cook meat or seafood in the kitchen (Website hidden by Airbnb) I have a large friendly dog, Micky. He likes kids, other dogs and cats.

It is always nice to visit the Court House Square. During warmer months, there fairs and art shows on the square during the weekends. I do like to take friends on short but very scenic hikes near the lake.
