Regole della casa
Questo alloggio non è adatto ai bambini di età inferiore ai 12 anni. Al suo interno, inoltre, non è consentito fumare. Mostra i dettagli
The space was originally a grocery store and built in 1902. My side of the building was formerly the stock room. The building sat abandoned for nearly 50 years after a fire nearly destroyed it in the '50s until it was purchased by a group of architecture students in the mid-2000s. The architectural style is very modern and industrial, with concrete floors, exposed beams, high ceilings, and a tin roof (which sounds incredibly calming when it rains).

Lo spazio
You're just a short walk to the Haymarket, Downtown Lincoln, Memorial Stadium, and Pinnacle Bank Arena. The kitchen includes everything you need to cook meals and you're totally welcome to do so. The bathroom is fully stocked with anything you could ever need from razor blades to feminine products (please be respectful of your usage to help me keep my rates as low as possible). There's a TON of dining options, breweries, coffee shops, public parks, running/biking trails, and cute local boutiques nearby. Feel free to take advantage of the TV and Chromecast in the living room if you'd like to watch Netflix or Hulu.

COVID-19:
- Please avoid booking if you're experiencing any symptoms.
- To keep you safe, I thoroughly sanitize and scrub everything down to a near-OCD level. I follow Airbnb's "Enhanced Clean" policies to a T and then some.
- To help protect myself and other guests, I may ask to take your temperature when you check in
- Due to Airbnb’s new COVID-19 policies, masks must be worn in the living room and guests must maintain proper social distance at all times

Pet Info:

The Husky's name is Fuji. She's an escape artist, so please be careful when you open and close doors. I usually recommend guests enter/exit through the back yard so there are two barriers between her and the wild in case she slips past you. The Westie's name is Max. He's an old boy and somewhat of a curmudgeon when you first meet him but he'll be your best friend within 10 minutes. If the cat decides to grace us with her presence and take a break from fighting possums / playing poker with raccoons / starting a gang / whatever she does outside, her name is Fish (Fishsticks for long). She's a Russian Blue, aka "mostly hypoallergenic". All three of them are up to date on vaccines and flea/tick doses. The Roomba's name is Roombie, and the mopping robot doesn't deserve a name.

Smart house Info:
Almost everything in the house can be controlled with the Google Home in your room. A few examples of things you can do:
"Hey Google, lights" - toggle all the lights in the guest room
"Hey Google, vacuum the guest room"
"Hey Google, play Humble by Kendrick Llamar"
"Hey Google, turn on the lava lamp"
"Hey Google, set an alarm"
“Hey Google, lower the temperature to 72°”

Accesso per gli ospiti
Everywhere is available to guests, including the common space and backyard, except the north bedroom and bathroom.

Altre cose da tenere a mente
- Park in the driveway on the south side of the building in the alleyway
- You can leave any recyclables by the kitchen sink and I’ll take care of them
- A single dog is allowed to accompany you. They must be up to date on their flea/tic meds and vaccines. I have two dogs and a cat on the property, so your fluff must play well with others and not kill my cat. Please let me know in advance if you want to bring a dog. There's a $15/night extra charge for pets - you can add it by simply increasing your guest count to 3. Service animals/ESAs are exempt from the charge, but I still appreciate the heads up.

There's a beautiful Buddhist temple with an amazing outdoor garden about three blocks to the west. A block farther lies Salt Creek, which has a great running/biking trail. A block closer is a Christian church. Two blocks to the east is Urban Trails, which is a locally-owned plant nursery that you should def avoid if you have no self-control when it comes to buying plants/succulents. There's a park fairly close by, along with the Germans From Russia Museum, which was actually founded by the daughter of the man who owned this grocery store. Downtown Lincoln is only half a mile away and Memorial Stadium is about a 20 minute walk away.

Durante il tuo soggiorno
I'm currently WFH and live in the unit, so you might see a lot of me. I hate it when Uber Drivers don't know when to read a room and shut up, so please be sure to add a note to your booking that says something to the vain of "We prefer to keep to ourselves" - I won't be offended, promise <3
