Northstar Haven is a vacation rental property located in Detroit Lakes, across from Big Detroit Lake. It's a perfect place for a family vacation get-away or a gathering of close friends. Kids will have a blast playing in the big yard or at the nearby beaches on Big Detroit Lake. The large fire pit is perfect for evening bonfires. In the winter months, bring the snow mobiles and enjoy the easy private lake access to Detroit Lake. Northstar Haven is the perfect vacation spot for all seasons.

Northstar Haven is purposefully decorated and equipped for vacationers traveling to the Detroit Lakes area. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is perfect for the kids with lots of space to play, a day bed with 2 twins trundle bed, 2 air mattresses and a couch. A second full bathroom is in the lower level as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for dining in for breakfast, lunch and dinner--including coffee Keurig for your morning coffee and wine opener for that glass of wine as you watch the sun go down on the large outdoor deck. S'mores supplies and beach towels are also provided for your convenience. The fire pit outside is perfect for S'mores after a long day at the lake. In winter months there is lake access to Detroit Lake for snow mobiles or ice fishing.

Detroit Lakes is a beautiful resort community in the middle of dozens of crystal clear lakes. One hour from Fargo and 3 hours from the Twin Cities. This AirBnB is located directly across the street from Big Detroit Lake and Fireside Restaurant. You can rent boats and jet skis from J&K Marina on Big DL and boat over to great little spots on the lake like Long Bridge, Zorbas, Hub 41 and more. Please inquire about nearby docks and beaches.

I'm Anne--spelled like Ann but pronounced like Annie. I grew up in ND but have spent the last 23 years in Pittsburgh. I have 2 adult children and a beautiful granddaughter. I have survived many things including breast cancer and I believe in living each day that my Lord gives me to the fullest and doing life with those I love.

Professionally I am the founder and co-managing member of a travel and events company that manages corporate and leisure travel and events including NFL cruises for the Steelers, Packers and 49ers. I have owned and managed several rental properties and AirBnBs over the years. I love to host and entertain people whether it be in my home or for a gathering, party or event.

I love my family. I love to travel. I love great food and expensive coffee and red wine. I love to see new places, wander around quaint shoppes and try new things. I have amazing friends and beautiful and talented kids/grand kid. I like to study psychology, read self help books and learn about what makes people uniquely who they are.

Buying The Northstar Haven was a return to my northern/mid-western roots and a return to family. I'm excited to share it with you and I hope you feel love, joy and peace while you are here and make many amazing memories with friends and family.
