The goal of this information is to protect you, your family/group, and ensure that you are familiar and follow the laws for the City of Palm Springs regarding vacation rentals.

PLEASE READ this entire email in detail to ensure you have a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, and you do not violate the City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Laws that have been enacted by the City Council of Palm Springs.

Please remember these are NOT the rules of Casa Fina, but the City of Palm Springs laws, but we are obligated to obey them. The City of Palm Springs will ENFORCE them without question with severe fines and possible eviction by their code enforcement officers.

BRIEFLY, THOSE LAWS ARE;
. NO MUSIC outside at any time. Vacation Enforcement Officers use decimal guns to read and RECORD sound levels of the sounds (music, shouting, screams, etc.) coming from homes they hear from the street. Fines run up to $1000 and possible eviction by the City of Palm Springs.
. N0 LOUD NOISES outside, such as; screaming, shouting, (including children), etc. at any time. Fines run up to $1000 and possible eviction by the City of Palm Springs.
. No more than 2 OVERNIGHT guests are allowed in Casa Fina.
. No more than a TOTAL of 6 guests (overnight-visitors) during the daytime during the hours of 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM are allowed at Casa Fina.
. The City of Palm Springs permits no more than 1 cars for overnight for the home. The code enforcement officers could fine and tow additional vehicles at their discretion.

CASA FINA GUIDELINES
I will meet you at the property, as required by the City of Palm Springs, upon check-in and give you a brief tour of beautiful Casa Fina and have you and each of your guests sign the Good Neighbor Policy required by the City of Palm Springs. This contract states that you and your guests agree to the laws set forth by the City of Palm Springs listed above.

CHECK-IN TIME
* Check-in time is 4PM - 8 PM.
* Please call 1 hour before your arrival 646-206-7863.

CHECK-OUT TIME
11:00 AM
Check-out time is 11 AM, which is critical to ensure the Casa Fina is ready for the next Guest(s) to stay. Any late check-outs, not approved, will be charged an additional day plus reimbursement for other Guest’s expenses.

Upon check-out, make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
The City of Palm Springs requires the individual making the reservation along with their guests staying in the home to sign a Rental Agreement, with a VALID ID and a mandatory age requirement of 25 years old for the booking guest, in which they assume ALL responsibility for their guests. This agreement will be waiting for you upon check-in. Guests ARE NOT ALLOWED to check-in before the individual making the reservation arrives.

POOL
* Open 24 hrs.
*No glassware in the pool area. We have special glasses for you to use as you enjoy the outdoor space.
*After pool use, please dry off before sitting on home furnishing to avoid additional charges that may result from damage to the fabrics. Pay careful attention to fabric and bed furnishings.

POOL HEAT BILL (November 1 - May 1)
You will receive a separate email and bill regarding the pool heat charge outlined in the home posting. The mandatory daily pool heating fee is $65 per day during the above timeframe.
During the summer months, (June to October) the pool is not heated since temperatures climb to three digits. If you still would like the pool heated, please inquire prior to your stay about the process and the cost per day for pool heat.
GENERAL
*To avoid additional charges and to keep our beautiful property rates extremely low, please clean up after yourself before check out by placing trash in outside trash cans. Dinnerware must be cleaned and returned to its original location, and all moved furnishings must be returned to their original site.
*Guests staying longer than a week have washer and dryer privileges.
*Please remember you assume all responsibilities for your guests.
*No smoking, vaping or burning candles/incense on the premises are allowed at any time. A $250.00 fine for any smoking on the property, you will receive this charge at the time of check out.
*No drugs on the property will be allowed at any time.
*All damages, if any, will be billed against the security deposit on file.
*The owner will complete a thorough walk-through after check-out.

LIABILITIES
The Homeowners are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises of this property or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest(s). By accepting this reservation, it is agreed, Guest(s) are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they may invite, with Homeowners consent, to use the premise. Please report any damages that may have occurred to avoid hefty credit card charges for costs. Any evidence of damage caused by Guest(s) will result in additional charges to the Guest(s), depending on the extent of the damage. The Homeowner reserves the right to assess the damage and charge Guest(s) as needed. The Guest(s) also understands if they violate the Casa Fina guidelines, additional fines, and eviction may occur by the owners of the property.

The Guest(s) also understands if they violate any of the City of Palm Springs Vacation Ordinances or Casa Fina Guidelines, fines and eviction may occur. Guest(s) that are evicted understand they forfeit all remaining monies from unused booked vacation days and their booking security deposit on file.

Please remember; we want to keep you safe, happy, and in compliance with the City of Palm Springs during your stay.
