This charming little efficiency style cottage has an open floor plan, and can be arranged to suit your needs. There is a fireplace for the winter and a swimming pool for the summer, with loads of games, including an air hockey table, for your entertainment. Perfect for visits to Salisbury University, Sea Gull Century Bicycling Event, or the National Folk Festival, and conveniently located only 30-45 minutes from Atlantic coast beaches.

Lo spazio
The cottage is furnished with a queen size bed, a sofabed, and (upon request) we can also provide a twin size air mattress.

Admittedly, the kitchen is ugly and dated - avocado green cabinets and a black tile countertop - but it is functional. We provide a blender, crockpot, coffee pot, and microwave in addition to the range, oven, and refrigerator/freezer. Should you need anything else, we will be happy to provide that as well - just let us know!

We do not have cable television, but we do provide you with a wide variety of viewing choices via the Amazon Fire stick. Also included is a Wii console and games.

Finally, we love our dog and understand what a pain it is to travel without "man's best friend!" You are welcome to bring yours with you! We just ask that they be free of fleas, house trained, and on a leash when outside. Also, please pick up any poo your four legged friend may leave.

Accesso per gli ospiti
The pool is open June-September.

The closets in the cottage are not available for use, but we do provide a large armoire which can be used in their stead.

Altre cose da tenere a mente
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:

Occasionally, I get negative comments from guests who book the property without reading the description I've provided and/or looking at the listing's photos. So, in an effort to maximize my attempts at full disclosure, allow me to provide the following important things you should consider before booking.

1. The house has an open floor plan. (This is stated in the first sentence of the listing description, but people still miss it.) Now, if you don't know what "open floor plan" means, allow me to explain. The house is set up with four distinct areas and a fireplace/chimney in the center of it. The bathroom is located between the bedroom area and the living area. The bathroom has a door. The bedroom area and living areas do not have doors. Nor do the kitchen and dining areas on the other side of the chimney.

2. The kitchen, as stated and shown, is dated and ugly. Avocado green cabinets and a black tile countertop. Honestly, I don't know what the previous owners were thinking, except that it must have been about 1974 and they were very trendy. If you are really, seriously into kitchens and you want state of the art, new appliances, this is not the place for you. Does everything in the kitchen work the way it's supposed to? Yes. Is it pretty? Heck no.

3. The pool is only open June through September, regardless of what the weather might be like. If it's 100 degrees on October 5 for some strange reason, the pool is still closed.

4. We do not have cable television. However, we do have a Fire stick, so you can access Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu with a Guest account which we have already set up for your convenience. If, however, you need to have ESPN on around the clock, you will be disappointed.

We are consistently making improvements to this property but cannot afford to do a complete overhaul all at once. Please consider carefully if you value form over function before booking. If you want to stay someplace that looks like it belongs in Better Homes & Gardens, this is NOT the place for you. If you want to stay someplace clean and comfortable in a great neighborhood, go ahead and reserve it now.

Salisbury, Maryland, Stati Uniti

The Hunting Park neighborhood of Salisbury seems secluded, nestled among loblolly pines and dogwood trees. Little would you know that it's located right between the Wicomico River and US Route 13! In addition to the scenic beauty of this neighborhood (where chicken magnate Frank Perdue lived and current Health & Human Services Secretary Alex Azar calls home), the location is super convenient. You are 1 mile from the center of Salisbury University's campus, and 2 miles from a Walmart Supercenter that is open 24 hours/day. You can be at the beach (Ocean City or Assateague) in less than an hour, or stay in Salisbury and take advantage of one of the nation's few free zoos, numerous parks, micro breweries, minor league baseball, and more.
