This fairytale cedar chalet in popular Locust Lake Village was built for families and friends. Tucked into a wooded grove, many past guests have described Heidi’s Lodge as “living in a treehouse.” With five well-appointed bedrooms and an open layout, everyone in your group will feel right at home. The 2300 sq. foot lodge was completely renovated in November 2019 and a hot tub added in March 2020.
Locust Lake Village has 3 private lakes and is full of year-round activities for the whole family!

Lo spazio
A CONTEMPORARY CHALET

Heidi’s Lodge has been a favorite getaway for families for generations. You can feel the warmth and history of the home the minute you step in the door.

The living area is bright and open. Soaring vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows allow the natural sunshine to flood the space with light. Unwind on the two velvety, emerald green sofas. Watch Netflix, Hulu or Disney+, play games, or simply enjoy the wood burning fireplace.

“This is the perfect home for every family member. It’s well-appointed, nicely decorated, and very cozy.” - Esther, guest

The kitchen is open to the living area — perfect for large groups. A vintage Danish teak table can seat up to 12 people for meals. A peninsula bar has casual stool seating for three more. The fully-equipped kitchen holds all the supplies you’ll need to prepare snacks, meals, and cocktails for your crew.

FIVE COMFY BEDROOMS AND THREE FULL BATHROOMS

The master suite is private and peaceful. A king-size bed sits under the A-frame peak and creates a cozy space to recharge after a long day. The new ensuite half bathroom features modern hexagon tiles and exposed wood beams.

Four more bedrooms include:

• Two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed set into antique metal frames
• A fourth bedroom has a twin-size bed and a rocking chair
• A new 5th bedroom on the first floor has a full-size bed and a queen-size bed
• Two pristine full bathrooms have tub/shower combos

The house is fully stocked with soft, hotel-quality sheets, bath & hand towels, duvets and soft blankets, and ready for your getaway! No need to bring anything, unless you'd like an extra towel for the hot tub or the beach.

PERFECTION IN THE POCONOS

An extra living space/game room is on the first floor. A comfy sofa faces the large, wifi-enabled flatscreen television. Play a game of foosball or try your hand at some retro arcade games like PacMan, Galaga, or DigDug. Adults and kids of all ages will love this cool hang out space! Up in the loft is a cozy reading nook with built-in bookshelves.

“Our family really enjoyed our stay. There were so many spots to hang out inside and outside of the house.” - Taneem, guest

To enjoy the beauty and peace of the Poconos, simply step outside. A sun-dappled deck space with a barbecue is perfect for grilling juicy burgers and hot dogs. Or kick back in one of the Adirondack chairs with your mug of morning coffee. Keep an eye out for families of deer strolling nearby.

On the ground level, a sparkling hot tub is irresistible at the end of a long day. Relax here with a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the forest. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit for scary stories and s’mores.

Locust Lake Village’s three lakes— Pines, Locust, and East— are close to the chalet. Spend your days on the sandy beach or fishing areas. With tennis courts, an archery range, a bird-watching blind, and a sledding hill— there’s never a dull moment at Heidi’s Lodge!

Locust Lake Village is a sleepy mountain community in the heart of the Poconos mountains, but you're ideally situated to enjoy northeastern Pennsylvania's famous local skiing, tubing, and waterparks!

--SKIING & WATER PARKS--
You’ll be 15 minutes from Jack Frost, 20 minutes from Big Boulder Mountain, and less than 30 minutes from Camelback Mountain. Plus Kalahari Water Park, the largest in the US, is only 10 minutes away! Enjoy a day of adventure and then return to Heidi's Lodge, your personal mountain oasis, to dine and relax with your family.

World-renowned Pocono Raceway, aka ‘The Tricky Triangle’ is only 10 miles from Heidi's Lodge. You’re only minutes away from world-class racing excitement! On non-race weekends, speed enthusiasts can get a taste of the action with a thrilling Stock Car Racing Experience and behind-the-scenes track tours.

If you’re in search of more entertainment, Mount Airy Casino is only 30 minutes away. Slots along with table games are plentiful at this energetic casino where, aside from gambling, you can catch concerts and other entertaining shows, plus a spa.

The Poconos is truly a four-season destination and there’s always something new to explore! Other local attractions include:

-Jim Thorpe. The historic town, just under 40 minutes away, features the Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center which details coal mining history and the life of the town's namesake, Native American athlete Jim Thorpe. Stroll the quaint Main Street, window shop, enjoy great local restaurants.

-Scranton – Electric City! There’s more to Scranton than just Dunder Mifflin (aka the headquarters of ‘The Office). Families love the Electric City Aquarium, Steamtown National Historic Site (trains!) and the Lackawanna Coal Mine tour (ride in a coal car, imagine you’re in Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom…? Okay, just us. That’s cool).

Enjoy the fresh air and abundant trails! The Poconos offers hiking experiences for those with any level of fitness or ability, from a short stroll around a lovely lake (nearby Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is minutes away) to a more rugged trail at nearby Tobyhanna State Park or Hickory Run State Park. Or drive less than a half hour and jump onto the 28-miles of Appalachian Trail within the Delaware Water Gap.

We highly recommend spending a day exploring the Bushkill Falls, one of Poconos’ loveliest locations. Open seasonally, this park contains a series of 8 waterfalls connected by wooded hiking trails and bridges.

--Rafting
The Poconos is well-known for its world class whitewater! Enjoy dam-release weekends on the Lehigh River for extra thrills, or choose a calmer rafting experience that's fine for family members ages 4 to 94.

--Shopping
Have a rainy day? No worries! The Crossings Premium Outlets is only 25 minutes away in Tannersville.
