Having been completely refurbished in 2019, the apartment has been furnished to a very good standard and makes an ideal base from which to explore all that Oban has to offer. The apartment lies just 300 yards from McCaigs Folly, as the crow flies and has views over Oban Bay from its elevated position.
Oban has an abundance of shops and restaurants, and the Corran Esplanade and promenade which runs alongside Oban Bay. The Oban Whisky Distillery with tours and a shop is well worth a visit. Known as the gateway to the isles, guests can easily take a day trip from Oban to Iona or Mull, and be back in time to sample the various culinary delights. There are boat trips available for sea fishing as well as permit fishing at many lochs including Loch Etive, Loch Awe, Loch Nell, Loch Scammadale and Loch Melfort, where you can fish for salmon and trout. There is also a leisure centre within a short walk too. For guests who love music the Oban Live music festival is held every June.
