Come visit our 40 acre farm in Southwest Michigan to revive your senses, connect to nature, and spend some time engaging in the simple life. Stay in our beautiful barn loft where you will sleep in our "thrift-store chic" guest rooms overlooking our indoor riding arena and horse pastures. Enjoy spending time with our friendly animals, feeding, collecting eggs, learning about their behaviors, and helping out on the farm.

Lo spazio
This is a unique opportunity to connect to nature and farm animals. Great for horse lovers! Our new two-bedroom barn loft and lounge will be your private retreat. The space is eclectically decorated with antique linens, original art, and found objects. You will be separate from, but close to our beautiful and gentle horses, goats, and baby emus. The benefits of equine therapy* are just beginning to be appreciated, and a stay with us allows our guests to be surrounded by these beautiful creatures. A ride on horseback is included in your stay in our indoor arena. We will show you how to groom and saddle the horse and how to safely mount and enjoy a gentle ride.

A "Goat Happy Hour**" is not something to be missed! Our goats are friendly and very entertaining. We also have two baby emu who arrived at the farm in April. Emu are friendly and curious birds with big personalities.
As of the writing of this description they are still adjusting to their new home, but we anticipate that they will be dancing and rolling in the yard very soon.

Your stay includes breakfast with farm fresh eggs, homemade baked goods, and local produce. For guests who want a more traditional retreat, we have a large, private pool great for relaxing on one of the big pool floats and watching the goats rummage through foliage on the other side of the fence.
The pool fridge is stocked with bottled water and lemonade.

**Goat Happy Hour can be arranged at the time of booking.

Dove ti troverai

Sodus Township, Michigan, Stati Uniti

The town of Sodus is a very small, agricultural area. Our farm is located on a quiet road surrounded by a sprinkling of homes and farmland. The view from the barn is of horse pasture and crops of soybeans and/or corn. We are only 15 minutes from St. Joseph and Benton Harbor, close to Lake Michigan, and also in the heart of the Harbor Country wine and Makers Trails. We have a compilation of brochures of area attractions including local museums, parks, beaches, wineries and breweries, farm stands, and other interesting things to do and are happy to make recommendations.

Durante il tuo soggiorno

We offer an interactive stay, but also appreciate our guests' desire for privacy. Since our guests will be staying in our barn, we will necessarily interact as we are in the barn to care for the animals. However, the guest rooms will not be accessed by us unless requested, and we will only enter the lounge to deliver and pick up breakfast and other items, and when necessary to access the art studio. We wish to allow our guests the "true farm" experience if they wish and encourage them to join us as we feed and care for the animals. This is entirely at each guests' discretion.

We have several activities on the farm in addition to feeding the animals. Guests may choose to engage in an art activity (additional fee may apply), Goat Happy Hour (BYOB), additional farm chores such as repairing a fence, painting, cleaning a pasture, etc, or horseback riding (additional fee applies).
