Sea Shore Log Cabin is located along the northern coastline of Donegal Bay, 16km to the west of Donegal Town and 2km from the village of Dunkineely. Featuring pay as you go wifi, seashore view, the cabin can accommodate 2 people & is ideal as a romantic getaway or as a base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way of South Donegal. There is a slab stone pathway to the cabin with patio adjoining, garden furniture & BBQ. The Cabin is a stone throw away from panoramic mountain, sea & shore views.

Lo spazio
Following the slab stone path to The Sea Shore Log Cabin will enable one to breathe in the sea shore air while admiring Mother nature comprising sea, peninsula, trees & mountains. The Sea Shore Log Cabin studio offers kitchen facilities (such as oven, hob, fridge with freezer box, washing machine, kettle, iron, ironing board, sink basin, cooking utensils, cultery, dinnerware, dining table.) A separate shower room offers use of a sink basin, shower & lavatory. With use of towels & hair dryer. Complementary shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/shower cap/body moisturer & soap are provided for guests. The kitchen -dining & tv area-sleeping area, are located in the same proximity. Thus making it it an ideal hub for a romantic getaway! Smoke & carbon monoxide alarms are both fitted. Instant heating & hot water. The tv area comprises a pull out double sofa bed, saorview tv, wifi access available for small fee, adjustable lamps & a central table to cater for whatever your palate desires! Whether one is rising to the baa of lambs, chirp of birds, the remarkable sunset, or rustling of leaves - "Sea Shore Log Cabin" endeavours to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!!

MacSwynes' Castle & Killaghtee Cross
St Johns Point Peninsula hosts stunning views of MacSwynes Bay/the remains of MacSwynes Castle where the King was slain at his doorstep (now known as Castle Murray) & nearby Killaghtee Cross, Church & graveyard ( sometimes known as Spamount graveyard) contains the 7th century Killaghtee Cross which dates from around 650AD is thought to mark the grave of an early monk, Aedh/Aodh who was thought to have had a "cell" (little hut for prayer) there. The cross marks the transition from the flat grave slabs to the upright Celtic crosses which it pre-dates. The old church at Killaghtee is thought to date from around the mid 12th century and was in use from that time until the early part of the 18th century.

St John's Point Peninsula, Beach & Lighthouse
Further down St Johns Peninsula enjoy beautiful views left to right, where you can capture Killybegs lighthouse, St John's Pt lighthouse, a lookout point for World War II where battle aircraft used to be seen during the war flying overhead & the iconic spelling of Eire with stone representing Ireland's neutrality during the war. St John's Point edge boasts a pleasure diving facility with Divers & healthy limestone soil for grazing cattle on. Not forgetting the beautiful sandy beach St John's Point peninsula boasts.

Donegal Castle, Donegal Town

Killybegs is situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and is a "must see" for the visitor to Donegal’s beautiful southwest. Watch as the fishing boats unload their catch of fresh fish at he pier, see the fishermen as they mend their nets at the quayside in preparation for another trip to sea
