Lo spazio
The Blue Rose Room is a spacious room with a feeling of a by gone era and a true Victorian feel to it. Come and spend sometime in a beautiful Queen Anne Victorian home that has been renovated and updated for a more modern feel. This is not your grandmas Victorian. Every bedroom has a private bathroom. This is a snack room on the second floor for guests to themselves. The first floor is an open space for guests to enjoy. There is a self serve continental breakfast for our guests to enjoy. This includes coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Oatmeal, granola and cereal and lots of breakfast bars. Peanut and almond butter, nuts, cheese, yogurt and baked good are provided.

PS The owner is very allergic to dogs and so for health reasons we cannot accommodate service animals.

PSS This room is on the second floor in the front of the house which is off a busier road so if you are a light sleeper this may bother you.

PSSS We ask for people to bring slippers or socks to wear. We have a “no shoe policy”. Thank you.

Accesso per gli ospiti
There is guest parking on the front and side of the bed and breakfast.

Altre cose da tenere a mente

Hackettstown, New Jersey, Stati Uniti

Tucked in the beautiful Valley along the banks of the Musconetcong River and Pohatcong Mountain in Warren County, New Jersey, this historic Home was built in 1875 by William Everitt, an engineer and former mayor of the town. It is now known as the Everitt House Bed and Breakfast was converted to a bed and breakfast in 1980.

During our recent renovations we have kept the flavor of a vintage family home, from a friendly welcome and refreshments upon your arrival, to a self serve continental breakfast in our dining room or our stain glass tea room. Whatever the season, a myriad of activities awaits you in Hackettstown and Warren County, one of New Jersey’s best kept getaway secrets!

The Everitt House is walking distance to downtown Hackettstown with so many wonderful restaurants to choose from. It is also home to multiple microbreweries and Brew University. Centenary University is a few blocks away and has many activities to offer, as well as their highly acclaimed Centenary Stage Company. Hackettstown has multiple wedding venues close by including David’s Country Inn, Panther Valley Golf Club, Jacks Barn, Perona Farms. Spend the afternoon enjoying the highlights of the Skylands Region including Jenny Jump state Park, Delaware Gap, Waterloo Village, Lake Hopatcong, or Morris Canal. Shop for crafts in Chester, go antiquing in Andover and Lafayette, go horseback riding, or go hiking and biking in the state parks. After a busy day, relax on our porch rockers, take a nap or sit in our parlor and enjoy refreshments and fresh baked goods always served at 4:00pm.

During your stay, stroll into town for some fine dining at one of gourmet restaurants in Hackettstown. The Inn is just minutes away from the Hackettstown train station, which can bring you to New York City in an hour and a half. Top off your evening at a local entertainment spot, take a stroll and enjoy the quiet, or drink a cup of tea on our porch.
