  • Bedroom 3-upstairs east side. Double bed, ceiling fan, window A/C unit, walk in dormer closet with hangers. This bedroom is pretty bare--still working on getting more furniture for it.
  • 3 hours from Louisville, 2 hours from Lexington or Knoxville, and 1 hour from Richmond/Berea area.
  • Weather averages. We get a lot of rain here.

  • We can get snow and ice. Average winter temp is around 40F.

  • Hunting on property by permission of hosts--you must have state tags/permits to do so. Please ask before hunting--there are cow pastures around and we'll need to point them out.
  • Some of the local deer eating our apples and pears.

  • Wooly worms! The Beattyville Wooly Worm festival is something to see.
  • Lots of beautiful wildlife.
  • Swarms of hummingbirds from May-Sept. It gets crazy at the feeders!
