Coleraine has a fabulous history which can be explored easily. We are located in a beautiful valley surrounded by magical countryside. Take a walk beside the creek. In the summer months we have an open air swimming pool that is open to the public for free!

Retired after many years in the community development industry. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their travels. Love the garden and presently working on reinvigorating a large space that has been sorely neglected over the years! Our home is the oldest surviving building in Coleraine, and was originally a staging station between Adelaide and Melbourne where horses and travellers could rest for the night. I love social history, and this home and this little town satisfies my interest! I've been an amateur writer for many years - and have been working on a novel for almost 30 years, but family, work and other commitments have always been in the way. Maybe now that life has slowed down a little, I'll have the time to finish it!
In my younger days, I was lucky enough to travel extensively - I worked in the travel industry for twelve years in the 'dream job', before leaving to start a family. My favourite destination is Spain, the food, the colour and the people make it fun and exciting. However, Australia has to be one of the most amazing countries in the world as far as quality of life, freedom of choice and spectacular wide open spaces, and I feel extremely lucky that I live here.
I love cooking and entertaining - the whole process of planning, shopping, preparing, cooking and serving is something I find truly rewarding. Spending time with friends and family is precious and something none of us should take for granted.
