The renewal has been done with a respect for the original atmosphere and style to create an unique experience in a modest village near to Unesco world hertiage sites such as Civita Di Bagnoreggio, "The Dying Town".

Lo spazio
This destination is one of a kind both because of its dreamlike location and high-quality interior. It's perfect for couples, friends or for an adult family vacation.
In addition to the Master bedroom, the house has a second bedroom where the beds can be separated. To perfect your holiday, you can order amazing home cooked Italian meals straight to the house. They are made by a local cook/dealer, who can make anything from breakfasts, lunches and dinners - accompanied with wine, of course.

If needed, there's also a possibility to order a visit by a masseuse, an intermediate cleaning for the house or laundry services (Note! The house does not have a washing machine for clothes).

The big garden behind the house includes a calm shared pool where you can relax and enjoy the great views.

Accesso per gli ospiti
The best way to get to Castel Cellesi is by car. Palazzetto di Marmo is located 150km from Rome, approximately 1:45 - 2h car drive away.

The shorter route from the north side of Rome headed to E35 and E45 towards Castel Cellesi has occasionally very dense traffic, especially during the weekends. This is why the route that goes by the coast along E80 is recommended most of the times.
The coastal road also provides beautiful scenery while you head towards the lovely and historical region of Tuscia.

The village is located in the area of Tuscia at the intersection of Northern Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany. The region is ancient Etruscan territory and is filled with historically interesting locations. Orvieto, Viterbo and Monte Fiascone are the closest cities nearby, located within a half an hour drive away. You can also find lots of inviting hot springs such as "Terme di Papi" in the area and services connected to them, even during the winter season. The largest crater lake in Italy, Lago di Bolsena, is only 30 minute drive away. The large variety of wineries and quality restaurants in the area offer culinarists an excellent chance to explore the wonders of central Italy’s cuisine. In the region you can find different kind of golf courses, and several beautiful marked hiking routes start from the village.

Other nearby places worth visiting: Villa Lante, an historic city with its renaissance gardens.

Orvieto di Duomo, an impressing 15th century Catholic church.

A peculiar attraction is the "moster park" from the 1600's, also known as "Parco dei Mostri" or "Garden of Bomarzo", only 20 minutes drive away from the village. It has magnificent and large monster themed statues and buildings, all located in the valley next to the Orsini castle.

Altre cose da tenere a mente

I'm an interior architect, an Estonian living in Helsinki, Finland. When I travel I seek authentic spaces, homes and local people who can show me a bit of their everyday lives. Show me your favourite spot and ask me about mine. :) Currently I host two places, one loft-style apartment in a lively neighborhood Hakaniemi, Helsinki, and another is a small marble house in a small dreamy village called Castel Cellesi, in Italy. They're quite the opposites - and for me, that's what's interesting in life in general.
