The Hummingbird Family Room with its king-sized bed, 2 twin beds and sofa-bed, is a spacious, comfortable suite that's great for a group of up to four adult friends or a family with up to 4 children, two sleeping on the sofa-bed.
Enjoy the outdoor tropical breeze and vibe sitting on your private veranda with table and four chairs plus two comfortably cushioned bamboo chairs.
You will have a dedicated private bathroom across the hall, 5 steps from the room, for your convenience and enjoyment.

Made with fresh and organic ingredients full of local and international flavors, our three-course family-style dinners will not be listed in a pre-set menu as we customize our menus daily especially with your preferred tastes in mind.

Before your arrival, we will ask you about allergies, meal preferences, likes, dislikes, dietary restrictions, your willingness to explore local cuisine, etc. Our meals are then pre-planned based on the information provided by all our in-house guests.

The Blue House Luxury Boutique Bed and Breakfast is only a few minutes to beautiful beaches and a short ride to a myriad of tours and excursions, shopping, restaurants, jerk spots and local food joints for lunch, yet it is worlds away from the noise and bustle of mainstream Ocho Rios tourism.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, the property is a birder's and nature lovers paradise, quiet and relaxing with lush, colourful, tropical blooms in abundance.

On realizing that the White River flows in our neighbours' back yards guests frequently venture out on their own accord for a refreshing swim in it's cool, clear waters.

A somewhat different "Jamaican" than you're probably used to, but a proud Jamaican non the less ! I'm second generation Chinese and sixth generation German born in Kingston Jamaica. I've lived 7 winters in Toronto, Canada and 5 milder ones in Queens and Long Island, New York. I returned home to Jamaica over 25 years ago.

Wanderlust and a passion for great food is in my DNA so I've ate my way across quite a few countries across the globe. Still travelling. Still munching.

I own and operate The Blue House Boutique Bed and Breakfast, Tripadvisor's #1 B&B in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We have long been the off-the-beaten-path holiday destination for savvy travelers searching for a small, cozy Jamaica boutique hotel with a laid-back, upscale vibe and first class authentic local cuisine. Our casually chic, family run B&B has been ‘Jamaica’s Best Kept Secret’ for years and we now have a prestigious award to prove it!

I love life, people and new experiences so I get a real thrill from welcoming travelers from around the world to my little corner of paradise. Our third generation Chinese and sixth generation German brother and sister team of Innkeepers are friendly, knowledgeable hosts. Our easy-going Barefoot Chef, Darryl, hosts most breakfasts while our charming, extremely hospitable Innkeeper, Elise, hosts most dinners. Both are happy to sit and regale you with colourful accounts of everyday life in Jamaica, our language, culture and customs, as well as, offer help and recommendations of places to see and things to do.

Private dinners are available on request at a small charge.

Keneisha, our customer service specialist, with be happy to arrange drivers/tour guides and help you book tours and dinner reservations.
