Our house is in a lovely cul-de-sac located less than a minute from Lewes station. The beautiful Grange Gardens are a stone's throw from our front door and Lewes Castle is a five minute stroll away. The room is very quiet, being at the back of the house and overlooking our garden. The guest bathroom is next door to the bedroom and comprises a toilet, sink and shower.

Guests have use of their own bedroom, and shared bathroom, front room - which is next to their bedroom - and the kitchen. On sunny days, we have a lovely private garden, where we serve breakfast.

As well as myself and my wife, there are three other members of our household; Mabel the cockerpoo, Alfie the cat and Joseph our baby son. The guest room is on a different floor to either pets or baby, so there can be minimal interaction, if wanted.

Ours is a laid back, calm house. Often we have performers from Glyndebourne staying in our other guest room and I am a freelance singer, so it's also a musical house, with plenty of people coming and going. The open plan kitchen/diner/living room downstairs is the hub of the house, and you'll usually find one or other or both of us down there, cooking and chatting - guests are always welcome to join us!

We offer a light breakfast of cereal, bagels, juice etc. and are happy to sit and chat with our visitors over a cup of coffee.
