Lo spazio
This is a cabin in the Maine woods for outdoor enthusiasts with 100+ acres of woods, ponds, and marked trails in the midst of a conservation area. It is also only 12 miles to the Maine seashore and beaches. Only 4 week and longer stays can be accomodated. No other neighbors, occupants, residents, guests, or hosts around. St in a meadow, surrounded by woods and open unused fields full of animals and birds. It is not suitable for infants or children under 5yrs as there are ticks in season and a pond on site and the kitchen etc is not "child-proofed". There is no Cable, no landline, no TV but there is great cell phone service and "Personal Hot Spots" work quite well. The cabin is 75 mi from Boston, 43 mi from historic Portland ME, and 21 mi from vibrant Portsmouth NH's restaurants, museums, and entertainments. The wildlife viewing from the porch frequently includes deer, porcupines, turkeys, and many species of birds. The surrounding Conservation Area includes an 18th century cemetery, streams, the Negutaquet River, and 100 acres of woods and trails maintained by the Great Works Regional LandTrust. The cabin interior is pine through-out with a screened, glassed porch running the entire south side (See photos). There are books and board games , a comfortable couch, swing, and chairs for reading and relaxing. You will be happy!

Accesso per gli ospiti
Entire cabin is free standing with a long private drive and no neighbors in sight. It is all yours to enjoy. A couple of miles of paths through woods and fields in the conservation area are open to guests.

Altre cose da tenere a mente
Guests should arrive for initial access in daylight to note landmarks and find driveway, etc

The "neighborhood" is a 100+ acre Conversation Area, owned and maintained by the Great Woods Regional Land Trust (GWRLT) with hiking trails and streams. The wild turkeys and porcupines are not unique, but they sure are cute! The acreage around the cabin is private and includes the pond which attracts frogs, deer and birds.

Happy woman with three grown kids, an A1 partner, deep love for nature. Very lucky and grateful. We grow veggies and keep chickens and share our "wealth" when possible. We have a special for first responders. Take care, stay healthy.
