The house is detached 1920's, edge of village setting, in walking distance of four pubs and two shops. Right on the edge of Dartmoor, and ideal for walkers and cyclists. Finch Foundry (National Trust) is two minutes walk away in the centre of the village. 15 minutes from delightful town of Chagford and five minutes from Okehampton.
This listing is for large double bedroom, with TV and comfy armchair plus private bathroom. Groups of 4 can also book 2nd bedroom (see separate listing)

Lo spazio
The house is right on the edge of Dartmoor with very easy access onto the moor. It is also on the old A30 and therefore an ideal stop-off point for long distance cyclists, whether doing Devon's coast-to-coast route or John o'Groats to Lands' End. I have a plentiful supply of Epsom Salts, so you can soak weary muscles in a long hot bath. And bikes can be safely locked away in the garage overnight for peace of mind. There are four pubs within walking distance and I am happy to make a reservation for you to eat at one of them in the evening. One of the reviews below says that the village shop was about to close - happily it has now re-opened.

Bedroom and private bathroom. If there are more than two of you, a second bedroom is available but you would all be sharing one bathroom. The second bedroom is not let separately so you would not be sharing a bathroom with strangers.
Breakfast is in the kitchen downstairs, but the rest of the house is my private space
