I watched way too many shows of Tiny Luxury Homes and set out to create my own!
Here you will find custom built in cabinetry, new flooring, exposed wooden beams, built in full size bed, a sparkling fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, gas stove and washer and dryer.
My bright sunny home overlooks the water of the Tongass Narrows and is just a seven minute walk to the center of downtown, ten minutes to the hospital and two minutes to the city bus stop. Smart car rental available.

Lo spazio
I wanted to create an efficient 'just right' space with a place for everything. If living large in a small space intrigues you I expect you will enjoy yourself here.

All new remodel just completed and offering you a comfortable stay in an open plan apartment. Enjoy a brand new kitchen fully equipped as well as a Keurig coffee maker, full size fridge and a propane stove. Front load washer and dryer. Brand new Beautyrest full size mattress. Comfortable pad to call your own a short walk to downtown. Kick back on the built in sofa in front of the real life flames of the electric fireplace and enjoy high speed internet, cable TV or a great book. Watch the activity along the waterfront from the kitchen bar counter.

I have a car available to rent with my home and she’s a perfect small addition to living large, a Smart Fortwo. Guests receive a discount rate of $49/night for stays under 30 days. Over 30 days the rate reduces to $35/day. It’s rented through the Turo app and I will adjust the price from $79/day if you request it.

The house was built in the 1920's and is listed on the Historic Register. Back then the road was a simple boardwalk trail and stores in towns provided delivery with young men packing goods to the houses by wheelbarrow. Today the street is paved and fairly narrow. There are a few stairs to climb but the views are worth it.

Dove ti troverai

Ketchikan, Alaska, Stati Uniti

My space is located on a quiet dead end road in the historic district overlooking the Tongass Narrows. Most of my neighbors have lived here some 30 years or more and it’s an authentic way to absorb local Ketchikan.
Life is lived on the street...pretty much the only flat space on the steep hillsides that make up old town’s core, where boardwalks and stairs have street names and provide a myriad of ways to explore backyards and homes perched above the water.

Hello there. I have called Alaska home since 1990 when I first took a ferry trip through the Inside Passage and the next year came back and kayaked from Juneau to Ketchikan, a journey of three months and the start of a long love affair with Alaska. Today I enjoy sharing the town and country I call home. I challenge myself with gardening in a rain forest that sheds 13 feet of rain and is visited regularly by a herd of deer. I enjoy yoga, knitting, boating, wood working and renovating homes. In the summer I work as a guide, being flown into remote areas to take visitors to watch bears catching salmon. It is always a joy to host guests and see the world I love through new eyes.
