Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on 2 acres. The Milford Luxury Home is our 2nd home. This home has been in our family since 1986; when I designed & personally built it for my parents. We completed a full renovation in 2018, updated in 2020

Master bedroom has a King size bed, cozy and comfortable bedding, big pillows, ROKU smart TV, walk in closet, ceiling fan

Guest bedroom #2 two double beds, Wi-Fi computer station and printer, ROKU TV and smart TV

Guest bedroom #3 two single beds, one double sleeper sofa.

Master bathroom with Jacuzzi / Hot Tub, 6' long and is a true whirlpool tub, make sure water is above the jet before starting the power. Make sure Jacuzzi is off before draining the water.

Hair dryer provided under sink.

Guest bathroom with double sink, tub/shower; toiletries in basket for your use. Hair dryer.

Laundry Room
New (2019) front load washer & dryer.
Laundry Tub has pull-out faucet flow for washing hair, towel rail next to tub.

Any food in kitchen is for your use, coffee, spices, etc. provided.
Full set of dishes, pans, utensils, hand towels

Granite counters and island; do not sit on counters or island please.
Kitchen Table seats 6, two under counter stools, extra folding chairs in front closet.
Keurig coffee maker + Drip coffee maker.
Antenna-TV + Roku TV
Filtered water spout (reverse osmosis, pure water system) +instant hot water spout (red tip) Note: reverse Osmosis is also feed to the dispensor on the fridge. This water quality surpasses bottled water in all tests.


Family room
A large variety of games/puzzles for your use.
DVD's & Player, as well as a large ROKU smart TV
Living room
Adults Only... Feel free to play the classic Thomas organ with care
There is a patio with chairs and bench, also a fire pit (wood available at many near by locations). An umbrella and stand is provided, please return to the down/stored position when not in use, and overnight.
We provide a tie-out for smaller dogs, please clean up after your dog.

Full access provided to the main level of the home.
KEEP POOL ROOM DOORS CLOSED between home and pool room.
Do not open pool room windows, but feel free to ventilate pool using the two doors to the outside. Please cover the pool with the solar cover when not in use for extended periods, esp. in winter months.
Basement and closet to the the left of the fridge is off limits.
Feel free to use BBQ in garage, roll out to driveway before using, wait for it to cool before replacing in garage. Close propane tank when stored in the garage.
There is an air compressor which you are welcome to use to inflate tires as needed, please power-off after using, as hose leaks.
This is our personal home, and we may have our bikes there from time to time, if you want to use them, suggested donation of $20 per day for as many bikes you need (just leave cash on the counter).
Bring your own helmets. Note: the bike trail around Kent Lake was voted best in Michigan.
WI-FI CAMERA LOCATIONS: Front Doorbell, Garage Interior facing out, Basement.
There are NO cameras in the living space or pool area, as we respect your privacy.

The price listed will fluctuate based on demand as season, the price you see when you inquire will be locked in once you book. We continue to modify and enhance our offerings, and make adjustments depending on season. We will do our best to identify items when we complete them.

We continue to upgrade the "smart home" with technology for remote assistance.

This home has a back-up generator, in case of a rare power disruption.
There are also newly installed fire/smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector (Aug 2018).
Wheel Chair ramp for easy access from the Garage into the home.
The pool is cleaned between each guest stay, and we use a Ozone Generator daily. Well water contains minerals, so we use a metal remover. The filter and heater runs from around 9am to 9pm. In the winter months, the water temperature may be a couple degrees cooler in the mornings, but will quickly recover to the standard 82-83 degree range. Keeping the pool covered overnight retains heat and controls humidity.

Swimming Pool Liability Waiver

This Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Addendum is attached to and becomes a part of the Rental and Lease Agreement on the property referenced above.

The subject property has a (swimming pool, spa and/or hot tub) located thereon. The tenant(s) will use the swimming pool and/or hot tub at the tenant’s own risk. The landlord will not be held responsible for the injuries sustained by the tenant and/or the tenant’s occupants or guests when using the swimming pool and/or hot tub, and the tenant will indemnify the landlord for any actions resulting from injuries to tenant and/or tenant’s occupants or guests. No Glass in the pool area; do not use the pool in conjunction with any alcohol or medications which may impair judgment.

The tenant is responsible for the general maintenance of the swimming pool and/or hot tub. This includes, but is not limited to, keeping the swimming pool/hot tub clean of debris and keeping the pool/hot tub areas clean, neat and organized. The landlord will be responsible for properly maintaining chemicals

The tenant is responsible for keeping all doors locked and the swimming pool/hot tub area secured at all times. All Doors between swimming pool and living space must remain closed at all times when pool is uncovered, to maintain proper humidity levels and heat transfer to the living space.

The tenant understands and agrees to allow the landlord access at regular times to maintain the pool equipment and chemicals. The tenant agrees to refrain from attempting to make any repairs or adjustments to the pool equipment or to any of the electrical wiring for the pool equipment.

The tenant must immediately notify the landlord of any repair that the swimming pool/hot tub may require. The tenant is responsible for the full cost that may be due for repair and/or replacement of the swimming pool/hot tub that is required as a result of negligence by the tenant or the tenant’s occupants or guests. The tenant must operate the swimming pool/hot tub in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and in a safe, responsible manner.

No pets of any kind are permitted in the swimming pool and/or hot tub at any time.

The tenant understands that the swimming pool and/or hot tub is strictly an amenity and that the use of this amenity is not guaranteed under the terms of the lease. Any interruption or non-availability of the use of the swimming pool/hot tub will not violate any terms of the lease.

If the tenant violates any part of this Addendum, the tenant will then be in default of the lease. In the event of a default, the landlord may initiate legal proceedings in accordance with local and state regulations to evict or have the tenant removed from the leased premises, as well as seek judgment against the tenant for any monies owed to the landlord as a result of the tenant’s default.

This is a very quiet street and area, the neighbors on either side are very friendly and respect each others privacy. It is off a dirt/gravel road, driveway to the home is blacktop.
Safe area, in fact, one of our neighbors is a police officer, another neighbor is a fire fighter.

I grew up in the Travel Industry, as my father managed travel for Ford Motor Company for 43 years, I managed Global Travel for Meritor, HQ in Troy MI, and transisitioned to consulting in mid 2020. I have worked in the travel industry since 1977. My wife is a retired pediatric Nurse, now volunteering two days a week at a nutrition center and clothing closet servicing those less privileged. Offering our second home on Airbnb is exciting for us; we designed and built it 1986 and fully renovated our home in 2018. Milford is such a wonderful area to explore, we always can find fun things to do, as well as relax at our second home tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac only 1 mile from town. Both of our sons were born in S. Korea, our oldest son works in New York City, and he is an Airbnb host with his apartment. He suggested that we offer our home on Airbnb, and we are excited to host as well. Our younger son lives in Brooklyn NY, and is in the music industry. My wife and I love to travel, and Airbnb opens up a world of opportunities. We like cruising and love traveling across the globe. We have been to Asia 5 times, Australia, Europe, N. America, S. Pacific and continue to seek out new destinations. We love camping in our classic 1984 VW Westphalia Camper Van, and biking the rails to trails in Michigan. Our favorite bike trail is 1 mile from our Airbnb in Milford. Travel is something you buy that makes you richer!
