Shaped like the male anatomy there is a queen bed in the ball sack. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, mini fridge, grill, fire pit, and coffee pot. Property is on 145 acres and about a mile of Colorado River frontage. Surrounded by thousands of more acres and no neighbors. Lots of hiking, kayaks, usually a beach, side by sides, fossils, and wildlife.

Eight additional rentals on the property if the Male Hogan doesn't fit your needs.

Lo spazio
Base Camp and Last Hurrah are remote. Similar landscape to Canyonlands, without all the people. Lots of big horn and mule deer. Four side by sides, six kayaks, and endless hiking and climbing. Two disc golf courses with fearsome reputations. Fossils, dinosaur tracks, Indian artifacts, petroglyphs, finger canyons, and center to the Jackson Hole trail, Chicken Corner, Lockhart Basin, Hurrah Pass, and close to the Wind Caves and all the bicycle trails on the Amasa Back. View of Dead Horse Point, Canyonlands, Anti-Cline, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Large security tortoise, all kinds of squirrels, chipmunks, at least 54 species of birds, and in the evenings ringtails, skunks, raccoons, and fox come to the lodge porch to eat. No it's not dangerous for kids. The night sky is amazing. It's doubtful you've ever seen so many stars and the Milky Way is a nightly occurrence for much of the year.

Accesso per gli ospiti
You have free access to the beach, the river, kayaks, hiking, climbing and our breakeven for the side by sides is about $165. You can kayak by the beach, up river and back down, or around the island. Once every ten days or so I go to town on errands and if you want a longer four hour kayak I can drop you in town to kayak back. Normally I'm by myself running the whole place so I don't leave very often. If you're just here one or two full days the odds of me going to town while you're here are remote but if I can make it happen, I will.

Altre cose da tenere a mente
The road is most often mentioned in reviews which normally ends with "it's worth it". A mostly dirt road which normally doesn't needs four wheel drive but it does need five or so inches of ground clearance. Most SUV's, Jeeps, and trucks have that. Most sedans and vans do not. In most instances swing wide on the corners going up and down Hurrah Pass and if you've driven a dirt road before you should be fine. If heights are an issue for you there will be lots of issues up and down Hurrah Pass.

As an alternative I have two people in town that will deliver you to Base Camp and back for about $100 each way.

There's no stores out here so bring your food and whatever you'd like to drink besides water.

When you make your request tell me you have a suitable vehicle and will bring your food and I'll approve the request otherwise I'll email you to get confirmation.

If you plan to use one of the side by sides while you’re here there’s no reserving them in advance. I have two to four side by sides depending on how many are in the shop and I have nine potential rentals so I can’t give it to you all day. I charge $165 while you’re here. You can use it to go to Wind Caves and Chicken Corner which usually take most folks two to four hours. When you return if no one else has requested it and you want to take it to Jackson Hole (not Wyoming) I’m good with that. They are not for taking to town or the other side of Hurrah Pass. Strictly sightseeing the area. I don’t have credit cards so check or cash.

Durante il tuo soggiorno
It's rare when I'm not on the property somewhere. Everyone has a walkie talkie or access to one. I always have mine with me and always turned on. If you need anything I'm available. I can give you hand drawn maps (the professional ones are wrong) of hikes you can do, side by side journeys you can go on, kayak trips, or where your best chance to find fossils or see critters is. If you ask and I'm available I'm happy to go with you.
