  • Eco-Toilets. Easier than you'd think. Garbage pail for the TP but the rest gets removed and taken to a compost for future use as tree fertilizer

  • Outdoor gravity-fed shower by the spruce grove- obviously September and October may bit a bit too cool for this though! But it’s great in July and August!

  • The cabin is on 3 acres of mostly-wooded property. Take a stroll.

  • We're on a quiet farming road with lots of old history including and an old church that you can take a step back in time in.

  • Hasting Heritage Trail. A 5-minute walk down the road. Great for a wooded country stroll and off leash run for the dog.
  • The cabin shares property with wildlife like this curious buck.
  • Rural Vistas and lots of great trails close-by
  • This robin shares the back deck almost every summer - she is protective of her babies though so best to leave her be.
  • Tait Lake for a quick dip. Only a 3-minute drive away. Watch for Turtles while driving!
  • Bay lake. 15 minutes away. Wade in on rock shoals or dive in off the rocks. Cambrian history here.
  • Bonfire at Sunset. The bonfire has been moved to a better spot about 50 feet further away from the cabin since this photo was taken.
