Situato a soli 30 minuti dall'ingresso sud del Parco Nazionale di Denali, questo è uno dei MIGLIORI campeggi privati lungo l'autostrada dei parchi! Siamo strategicamente situati in una casa isolata con vista sul Monte McKinley in una giornata limpida! Nelle vicinanze Summit Lake & Fish Creek sono perfetti per la pesca Temolo. Questo è un campeggio ASCIUTTO =nessun allacciamento elettrico, fogna o acqua. Nessun servizio, solo incredibili paesaggi di montagna! Porta S'more e un po' di legna da ardere per goderti una vera esperienza in Alaska intorno al braciere!

Lo spazio
Avrete pieno accesso al nostro parcheggio privato di 1,5 ettari, completo di un bel vialetto di ghiaia e un parcheggio. Abbiamo anche il focolare perfetto per arrostire hot dog e S'more. Godrai di alcuni dei paesaggi più spettacolari che tu abbia mai vissuto con incredibili viste sulle montagne che ti circondano su tutti i lati. Con facile accesso "tirare fuori l'autostrada" attraverso la strada di fronte, questo è facile come si ottiene per il campeggio in Alaska.

Nota: puoi salire e scendere lungo la strada sterrata, ma ti chiediamo di non aggirarti per le cabine dei nostri vicini. Hanno telecamere di sicurezza e ci piacerebbe evitare la conversazione sul perché i nostri ospiti stanno violando la loro proprietà. Quindi, basta appendere fuori sul nostro lotto e godersi il panorama! E se sei lì in agosto o settembre, ti invitiamo a raccogliere tutti i mirtilli che puoi mangiare. Rimarrai affascinato dalla bellezza della zona e potresti persino vedere un Caribou!

I'm currently serving in my 19th year of Active Duty Service to our great nation as a member of the United States Air Force. I am stationed at Langley, AFB in Virginia with my wife and 3 sons. We are sweating it out here in Virginia until I can retire and live part time in the Smoky Mountains of NC, and part time in Alaska! My ancestors have owned the land our NC cabins and campsites sit on since 1836. In fact, my mother grew up in a little rustic cabin on the side of a dusty road when there was no electricity and the outhouse was a hole in a bench placed over the creek. Can't you just picture it? My grandfather even helped build Nantahala Dam after returning from his service in WWII.

I grew up exploring the mountains with my brothers and our BB guns, each time we went to visit Pop Pop Ferguson and Uncle Frank, at our family reunions. In 2005 Frank deeded us a parcel of his inheritance land and we built our first cabin. Our 4 year old son Jack called it "Smawlie". We LOVE to escape the heat and go to the Smoky Mountains to play on the lake and hike the trails on our own property, and of course, the world famous ones that join them, namely the Bartram and the Appalachian Trails. When you get the chance to come explore the lake, the trails, the rivers, and the mountain roads you'll discover the peaceful beauty of the area and why our ancestors chose to settle here. In 2015 we bought the remainder of Uncle Frank's land and in his honor built our second log cabin and named it "Frank's Landing". In 2017, inspired by the solar eclipse and to accommodate four-legged friends not allowed in the cabins, we opened "The Backside" - a beautiful campground featuring seven level tent sites next to a little fresh water creek on the Backside of our family mountain. In 2019 we purchased a true Tiny Home called "Little Red". In 2021 we added a gorgeous Lake Front home to our portfolio, to accommodate more of our growing family.

While we were stationed in Alaska, for 6 heavenly years, we saved our pennies and the PFD and purchased a remote parcel of property outside the town of Cantwell just outside the Denali National Park and have slowly begun to develop it. We hope to build a cabin there soon. In the mean time - it's the PERFECT RV camping spot, aptly named "Denali View". And, we have an RV we rent out for those interested in enjoying it until we complete the cabin.

Thanks for reading this little tidbit about us. As you can see, our family has truly been blessed. We've embraced the entrepreneur mindset and have expanded our offerings with time share resorts and boat, car, motorcycle, jet ski, and RV rentals. In addition, I offer a photo experience in VA.
