Comfortable and cozy room for a couple, solo or business traveler. We are in the safe and quiet residential area of Kensington in Brooklyn. Kermit Place is a small street tucked between the main thoroughfares of Ocean Parkway and Caton Avenue. Close to the Kinsington Stables (last remaining in the city), we are 1 block from Prospect Park with a jogging, running and bike path for those who like the outdoors. Prospect Park is designed by Olmstead who also designed Central Park in NY

We had a fire in 2016 in the house and it is finally renovated! We are very pleased to offer AIRBNB guests our modern, bright, airy and tastefully decorated accommodation again.

You will have a private room 11 x 9', with a large built in closet and shelves for all your luggage. Extra blanket and comforter for chilly nights although the room is amply heated for the winter. There will be a shared bathroom if there are other guests, for your use where there will be space for your toiletries . Maximum number of people using the bathroom is 4 including your party. The room can be locked for privacy. A hair dryer is in the room for your use. An iron is available on request.

The room is equipped with a fridge and electric water kettle,paper plates / cups and plastic utensils. You can use the microwave oven in the 2F common area to heat your food.

There is a comfortable large bed (57"x79") that sleeps 2.
Hardwood floors throughout and air conditioned for ultimate comfort.

The neighborhood is residential and quiet - there is no night life in the area. However, there are restaurants within 15 minutes walking distance. There is a grocery store and laundromat 3 minutes walk away. A larger supermarket and fruit/vegetable stores 10-15 minutes that offer a larger selection of gourmet and food products.
