The unit provides a very comfortable base and its convenient location makes it an ideal place from which to explore Canberra's attractions or attend work/education. It offers a light bright, and well equipped space with parking outside the door. Reverse cycle AC and top rating insulation manage Canberra’s weather efficiently.
Public transport, arterial roads, shops, walking and cycling tracks are nearby.
Check in 3pm , check out 11am, but we will be flexible where possible.

Lo spazio
The unit is simple but well equipped with good heating and air conditioning. You will enjoy the smart TV (internet access) and fast wifi. There is a music system and radio.The queen size bed and sofa bed are very comfortable .
The kitchen has excellent cooking facilities, and there are many comforts of home as we use this unit ourselves on our visits to Canberra.
There are plenty of pantry basics you can use such olive oil, spices and sauces.Tea, herbal tea and coffee are provided.
You are only a minute from the local shops by foot so you can always add whatever you need to make your stay complete, as there is a small supermarket which sells alcohol, a bakery, and an Asian restaurant. There is also a world of dining options/take away available all within a few kms.
Still to come is the beautification of the garden, which has two small areas back and front, neither of which are fenced off from the road.

The unit is very easily accessed by car from the major arterial roads of Canberra, and has its own carport right outside the front door.
There is a local bus stop just steps away and the major bus routes can be easily accessed on foot or by bike.
There are two steps into the unit, none inside.

Our unit is dual occupancy and is attached by one wall to our daughter's house. However you have complete privacy. The block is a corner block and your driveway and entrance are round the corner from theirs. This means you will know who your neighbours are, and solo travellers can feel very secure.

Weston Creek is a central and popular area of Canberra The unit is a minutes walk from the local shops, and there are bike and walking tracks radiating in all directions from there.
1.4 km away is Cooleman Court which has an Aldi and Woolies as well as numerous chain stores and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. It can be accessed by the walk/bike tracks. Similarly, Woden Plaza is 2.6km away and can be reached by bike/walking tracks. Here you will find a Hoyts cinema and a giant Westfield shopping centre. Philip swimming pool , a great outdoor pool, is also located in Woden .
The Canberra Hospital is 4km away and can be reached by bike track.
The unit is a minutes drive from the Tuggeranong Parkway, the arterial road to take you north and south to all of Canberra's major attractions.
The city and the ANU are about a 10 - 15 minute drive along the parkway. The parliamentary triangle with Canberra's major attractions such as the National Library, Questacon, Parliament House and the National Gallery ae also about a 15 minute drive away.
Cooleman Ridge and Mt Taylor are wonderful nature reserves close by. Mt Taylor can be accessed on foot from the unit, and the hike to the top is well worth it for great views.

I live on the far south coast of NSW, with my partner. We enjoy the natural environment particularly the beach and the birdlife. I am an avid reader and enjoy walking , singing, bike riding and kayaking. We both like to travel. We have enjoyed many varied Airbnb locations in our travels. We host house concerts which brings us in touch with musicians from round the world and other parts of Australia and is a fun community event. We live on the south coast so won't be seeing guests ourselves, but our daughter and son in law live right next door, and can help out if needed.
