Step down the path past our architectural/painting studio and house and unplug for a woodland retreat under the starry skies. For Wi-Fi, just step into the studio. Nearest neighbors are family, two sheep and two barncats.

Minutes away from Barrett's Cove swimming area on Lake Megunticook, Lincolnville Beach, the Lobster Pound and Camden Hills State Park hiking trails.

Center General Store is one mile down the road, with wood-fired brick oven pizza, 7am-7pm.

Lo spazio
Spindlewood is a warm and wonder-filled early childhood setting with handmade wooden and woolen toys and outdoor play area. Susan was the Waldorf Kindergarten teacher here for 30 years.

Double bed is a futon, and there is a sofa futon as well, unless you need to use it as a second bed. In addition to the child-sizes family dining table, there is an adult-sized bistro table with two chairs.

Kitchen is fully equipped for basic cooking. Gas stove, small refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker. Situated in a three generation family farmstead at the end of a country road.

Accesso per gli ospiti
You will have the entire cottage.

Wi-Fi signal is weak in the cottage, but can be accessed from the driveway. You may also step into studio for Wi-Fi.

You are also welcome to visit the sheep and kitties in the barn.

Our neighbors are family and friends, and we enjoy walking down our country road to the cranberry bog at the foot of the hill. The people of Lincolnville have created a community library that hosts regular concerts and talks.

And Center General Store, one mile away, is now open 7am-7pm, 7 days/week for wood oven-fired pizza and much more!

Lincolnville Beach is 7 miles away, next to the ferry to Islesboro.

Jack and I have walked to work for years. He to his architectural studio, where he now paints and does sculpture. A bit further along the path is Spindlewood Waldorf Kindergarten, where Susan taught for 28 years , and is now welcoming families and friends as an Airbnb. Our second and third generation live next door. And two woolly sheep graze in the pasture. One of the best things we ever did was walk the Portugese Camino de Santiago de Compostella. We are inspired by the hospitaleros.
