In the heart of Little Havana, the listing is for the master bedroom of an authentic 1920 Spanish Mediterranean house with fireplace, original hardwood floor and hand painted ceramic tiles. All furnished with a rustic yet modern and functional touch. Walk to Calle Ocho and enjoy the best Miami has to offer, from local restaurants and shops to popular bars and galleries. Get the best of both worlds, 15 minutes away from the airport and the beach, in a quiet tree lined neighborhood

Lo spazio
Enjoy the comfort and luxury of a 1920's house in the heart of Shenandoah. We have other rooms that we rent in the house, I do not currently live there but my cousin Ramon does, any questions you might have please feel free to contact me. Your room is equipped with a private kitchenette, with a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom is shared between two rooms that are adjacent to it. There is also a half bathroom downstairs that you are welcome to use. The house has several shared spaces like 2 large seating areas, living room (with mosaic fireplace), dining room and modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. You will also have access to our outdoor patio and free bikes are available for you to use (contact me if you are interested and I can provide you with the codes). I am personally in love with all its historical character and charm, I know you will fall in love too.

Accesso per gli ospiti
The house has an electronic lock in the front door, once your reservation is confirmed I will send you instructions that include the combination to the front door and the key to your room

Altre cose da tenere a mente
Little Havana is at the center of it all, it is a 10 minute drive from anywhere in Miami, with access to public transportation and plenty of Ubers and to top it all off, easy and free street parking.

Walk two blocks north and you will reach 8th street (Calle Ocho), there you will find local restaurants, bars and cabarets, a gorgeous Art Deco movie theater showing foreign and independent films, souvenir shops, fruit stands, art galleries and several live music venues including the historic Ball and Chain. Marlins Park is a $5 Uber Ride Away and I highly recommend catching a game if you have the time, even for non baseball fans, it is a great experience.

If you head east to Coconut Grove you have: nice restaurants, local bars and shops, paddle-boarding, kayaking, biking, Viscaya or The Barnacle.

If you head west you can go to Miracle Mile for some shopping and dining or catch the local crowd at a happy hour at Tarpon Bend, Hillstone or Bulla. You can also go to Venetian Pools or grab brunch at the Biltmore.

You can take the free trolley or the metro bus to go to Brickell or Downtown Miami, where you will find lounges, restaurants, museums, Bayside, Miami Airlines Arena, Opera House and lots more.

I am always available if you have any questions on what to do

Shenandoah is a residential neighborhood nestled between Little Havana and Coral Gables. It has the best of both worlds; the rich Mediterranean architecture, foliage and history of Coral Gables combined with the location, night live, liveliness and culture of Little Havana

You have everything that makes Miami Miami, from Versailles restaurant to to the multi million dollar Marlins Park, world renown art galleries to Los Pinarenos Fruteria. It is rapidly gentrifying but it is still hanging on to the culture of those that made an extension of Cuba in the States plus all the ones that built on it after

In 1895 Florida experienced what became known as the Great Freeze, where the temperares in Florida dipped to record lows ; at that time Henry Flagler was an extremely influential figure and Julia Tuttle had been courting him to extend his railroad down to Miami, which he had refused up to this point since his favorite Citrus trees were doing great in Palm Beach. In 1896, after the Great Freeze had devastated most of the Citrus Groves north of Fort Lauderdale, Julia Tuttle sent a small box to Henry Flagler with a note that said "Dear Henry, How does your garden grow?" and a Orange Blossom and this is how Henry Flagler decided to extend his railroad and in doing so created the city of Miami and Little Havana in particular. 1896 to us means that Miami has always been a welcoming place, whether it is weather you are seeking, different cultures, night life or simply a place where you don't feel like a tourist (because at the end of the day all of us in Miami are), this city and us in particular will welcome you with open arms.
