We are the Landeo Huamán, a local little family (mom, dad and son) with a passion for hosting and welcoming people to our city. We love to give every one of our guests a great experience while sharing our Peruvian roots, culture, food, beverages and traditions. You will be part of our family while you stay with us and after that too!
We can also help you arrange tours to Lima's best spots in 5 different districts, such as Miraflores, Barranco, Pueblo Libre, Lima (Downtown) and San Isidro.
Here's some info about us:
Harold: I was born in Lima, a.k.a. as City of the Kings and well known for being the Gastronomical Capital of the Americas, mixing Spanish, Andean and Asian culinary traditions, all of which you can see in Mistura Festival. The city has a lot of things to see: cool beaches, museums, festivals, bars, theaters, and so on. I am a bachelor of Business Management interested in the Hospitality Industry, reason why I have started my own business running a guest house in Lima. I love reading books, playing video games, learning languages and traveling a lot, mostly by myself because I can go at my own pace. Right now I'm studying Interior Design.
María: I'm from Ayacucho, a city famous for being occupied by the Wari Culture (first expansionist empire based in the Andes before the Inca Empire); its 33 churches, which represent one for each year of Jesus' life; and the religious celebration during the Holy Week of Easter. I am a business manager and professor. As soon as you get home, you will see that I do love plants a lot: the house has many different kinds of them! I love cooking a lot, especially in a healthy way, and I also know a lot about natural healing plants, such as Munha, Cedrón, Uña de gato, and many others, thanks to my grandma, who raised my 10 brothers/sisters and me. So if you want to know more about local food or healing plants you can find in Peru, just ask me, I will be more than happy to tell you everything you want to know :)
Walter: I'm from Huancavelica. I am an economist and professor. I'm Maria's husband and Harold's dad. Most of the time I'm teaching economics at university but when I'm at home I will assist you in everything you may need. I love watching series, movies and anything related to Economics.
We are a super easy-going and friendly family. We love to have good conversations, and meet new people. We are located in a safe and quiet neighborhood minutes away from Jorge Chavez Intl' Airport and Downtown Lima. And we have a little parrot named Lori.
Our home is LGBT friendly. Absolutely everyone is welcome!
We also offer long term reservations, specially for exchange students that are going to study in Lima, near PUCP (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú), UNMSM (Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos) and UP (Universidad del Pacífico). Please ask your questions via Airbnb!
Feel free to contact us in case you need more information :)
