Join husband-and-wife duo Leo and Monica for an evening of laughter, fun, and fresh pasta, with recipes rolled straight from Leo’s traditional Florentine roots.
This is a great experience for Couples, Family and Celebrations or special nights with your loved one. This is the most reviewed experience making Handmade Pasta Class in the entire area. We'll start with an intimate group where we'll jump into the pasta-making portion of our class. You’ll learn just how easy it is to whip up a perfect pasta dough, roll it out, shape and fill each delicate nibble with a punchy, flavor-packed filling made from scratch. The class will focus on 3 types of Pasta (Ravioli, Tortellini and Tagliatelle plus some surprise shapes). Every class will last about three hours, at the end of which guests will have dinner with the hosts and taste their creations on the spot!
Tortellini, ravioli, tagliatelle, spaghetti – after a few hours in Leo and Monica’s kitchen, you’ll be able to tackle any variety and produce a pasta-piece that tastes even better than it looks. Better yet, you can ask ahead of time for a more personalized menu.

We had a fantastic evening at Monica and Leo's! The whole evening was warm, open, engaging, and, of course, delicious. It felt like a night cooking with friends, and we learned a lot in the process. This greatly exceeded our expectations. Don't hesitate - book it!

Leo & Monica were fantastic hosts and we had a great experience learning making pasta as well as having a lovely company. It was almost like visiting friends home! They had the kitchen area well organized, starting with a map of Italy explaining some history of regional difference in pasta making, then taught us step by step on how to make ravioli, tortellini and tagliatelle from scratch. It was easy to follow instructions and if one was a bit struggling, Leo was right besides him to assist. While Monica was instructing on the pasta making, Leo was making sauce and we had marvelous dinner with another couple who were there to learn as well. We received this as a gift and would highly recommend to anyone even a novice in the kitchen!

Leo and Monica’s pasta-making class, quite hospitably held in their own home, is a fun and affordable experience I would suggest to anyone who loves to cook and is interested in exploring *delicious* homemade Italian food. I purchased this as a holiday gift to my wife. I would advise arriving maybe 20 minutes early in order to find parking - the neighborhood was tricky to navigate for us and we ended up being late, but Monica and Leo graciously waited for us while keeping the other participants entertained. Leo, hailing from Florence Italy, starts the evening off with a quick slideshow on the history of pasta in Italy, and which villages & cities the most common types originated in. We then made our way over to the work table Monica had set up to get started on our dough. Monica also lived in Florence for some time, as well as Bologna, so her knowledge is firsthand too! Both teachers were well-informed, helpful, interesting, and patient. I wouldn’t consider myself an excellent cook, but I was feeling quite confident and proud by the end of the night! Monica demonstrated to us how to make three different types of egg pasta while Leo cooked the sauces, took photos on request, and walked around giving tips and helping out. At the end of the night, we all sat down together to enjoy our creations and get to know one another a bit more. It was less like a class, and more like a friend teaching you to make an old family recipe of theirs. Worth noting, we had a gluten intolerant participant, and they did absolutely everything to include her and make her feel comfortable. They really avoided cross-contamination and managed to give her individualized information specific to gluten-free dough as we went along. The evening was both intimate and fascinating, and the absolute best part? Their darling cat made a surprise appearance before we left! I highly suggest this experience to anyone considering it - Leo and Monica are great!

It was an extremely welcoming and very welcoming! They are a wonderful couple with a wealth of knowledge! My wife has celiacs and they were able to accommodate with no trouble at all! We would give them more than 5 stars if we could!

Monica and Leo are extremely personable and considerate hosts who told us wonderful stories in a very organized and well structured event! They were very patient with us during the pasta making since it was our first times. It is very obvious that both are very skilled but also have a passion for teaching and sharing their art. It was wonderful to have an authentic Italian experience among good company.
