Programma

This is the beginner kundalini yoga intro class.
What to do before class? Hydrate, no alcohol for 24 hours prior if possible and no food or drink besides water at least 2 hours prior to the class, wear comfortable non-restrictive clothing, and bathing suit is ok, bring sunglasses, surrender your ego and leave all negative things and thoughts at the door prior the class. Please be on time and arrive a few mins early if you can. Yoga is FUN, smile. I am May Kaur and I love you and not in a weird way. Let the sunshine upon you and all love surround you.
We start with chanting Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo and some breathing work.
Then move to do some very unique and effective warm-up exercises to warm you up and also raise up your kundalini energy.
After that we will do a kriya, outward physical expression of awakened kundalini or simply put a group of exercises that stimulate the body.
Sodarshan Chakra Kriya is the finishing exercise, very powerful all chakras purification, performed via special breathing and silent chant of Wa Hey Guru.

We will close with chanting Sat Num three times, long sat and short Nam.

We did a private class with Marina. She did an excellent job adapting it to all levels and giving us the basics we needed to be successful.

Marina was super friendly. The place was magical. She is knowledgeable about different type of breathing. She let me put my ego on the side and be present in the moment and with my body which is something I really needed it. The class was relaxing and grounding. It’s not like typical yoga class. It was a different beautiful experience mostly focusing on the breath and some body movements help with stretching the tissues and the muscles and make you become more aware of your internal organs. 😃

The yoga is one I am not used of. The instructor was passionate and knowledgeable of what she was teaching and I did walk away learning a few extra things.

This was an amazing experience in a beautiful location. The style of yoga was not what I was expecting but I left the class feeling refreshed. This class focused on breath work and connecting with yourself, not so much the poses. It's so easy to loose touch with your breath and it was nice to spend the morning mindfully connecting to it. I would highly recommend attending this class.

This was a wonderful experience! It started with a breathtaking backdrop of the morning oceanfront. Marina greeted us with a smile and I learned a lot of new techniques for breathing and body positions. Marina was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating! 5 stars across the board, this is something you don’t want to miss!

We had a very good class! Marina was very nice and had a good personality! It was a good workout and left me feeling very awake and ready to go!
