Located in the La Victoria district, Gamarra’s 20,000 textile shops, manufacturers, contractors and retailers employ over 100,000 people. The Gamarra economy is estimated at over $1.4 billion a year. Taking up 24 square blocks, the area receives an estimated 100,000 visitors a day. *First we meet at the meeting point, in front of the famous shopping center "Polvos Rosados" in Santiago de Surco. *From there we take the train to "Gamarra". *We get to know "Gamarra", the biggest textile production site in all of Peru, where many branded clothes are produced and exported to Europe , with one of the best cotton in the world. *I will show you some factories in charge of the production, we will make a tour through the most popular gallery, where you will be able to acquire many different brands, national and international, of your preference, for unbeatable prices! *We will visit the graphic designers, the shops that sells accessories, printing press for t-shirts, the production site of tailoring and at the end we will see the finished clothes for sale.
