I had an amazing experience with Alejandro's team. Our guide was Fernando and he took myself, my girlfriend and her brother through the rainforest with ease. It wasn't ideal weather, as it rained on and off throughout the 2 hours, but Fernando still made it an enjoyable experience. We stopped several times along the way for him to tell us interesting stories about himself, Puerto Rico, the rainforest, and the wildlife as well as take plenty of pictures for us. We rode for a full 2 hours, not wasting too much time on orientation or extra things like that. We stopped about midway for some fresh coconuts and a bathroom break. 3 cute and very friendly stray dogs followed us the whole way which only added to the experience. I would highly recommend this experience to others. Thank you Fernando and Alejandro!

This was a great ride, maybe mostly because we got lucky and had a very small group. Just 4 people and 1 guide. Really felt like we were just out for a relaxing ride in the jungle, not treated like tourists. I had my 7 y o and she was able to ride her own horse and they had excellent safety precautions/equipment and I didn't even have to worry about her. She loved it! One of the best moments of her life i think! The guide was funny and also just chill, he was very comfortable with the process and he just let us enjoy the ride. I think it was Jonathan? He said he had 9 years of experience there so we felt very safe woth his leadership. Even got to see Cali the sheepdog riding in a big bulldozer! An only in PR experience ! 😁

We didn’t ride with Alejandro we rode with Juan and Alex. We had more interaction with Juan who was wonderful! His knowledge of the rain forest and surrounding areas was exceptional. He showed us, and allowed us to sample the fruits of passion fruit vines, banana and trees. He told us about how some trees leaves turn grey when it’s about to rain, knew all the names of trees and flowers ( African tulip- also has another name ; ) ) juan also showed us how to make paint from river rocks and put “war paint” on the children and drew turtles on the adults. Juan also knew all the horses names, it is obvious he has a strong connection to all of them. It was a wonderful ride and Juan & Alex made it even more special.

The views are beautiful, but there was no "tour" - we rode in silence the entire time. There was no interaction with the guides until the end when they asked us for tips. Definitely not the kind of personal touch I've experienced during loads of other Airbnb experiences. There was nothing special about it.

Experience was great. Our tour guide was Jonathan E and he was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. The horses were very sweet and knew the path so we didn’t have to steer much...just sat and enjoyed the ride. After the ride we had lunch at the restaurant onsite and the food was delicious....especially the rice. They have clean bathrooms to clean up in after the ride and a nice gift shop.

Heads up - this isn't a small operation, it's a ton of trail horses all lined up for group after group after group to ride. It was cool to see bits of the forest on horseback but might be better seen on foot in the actual El Yunque Nat'l Park and not this well-worn trail in a long line of worn out trail horses adjacent to the Park. The guides were friendly and engaging, although our main guide left part way through and left us with someone who, while nice enough, didn't give any info on what we were seeing or riding past. We enjoyed the trip, but wouldn't go again.
