Cosa farete

We’ll take a stroll through the city center, highlighting places of interest that are off the tourist track. I’ll point out some cool restaurants and bars, unique little shops, and historical landmarks and I'll offer some insider's tips about places to go and things to do while you're in Regensburg. Then we’ll go to a café where I’ll teach you some basic phrases to help you get by during your travels in Germany, adapting the lesson to your level, whether you’re an absolute beginner or if you’re just brushing up on your language skills. The idea is to give you not only some linguistic tools but also the confidence to actually speak with locals in German. Obviously if you're learning German for the first time, you won’t be able to have complex conversations after a single lesson, but at the very least you will be able to say “Hello,” “Goodbye,” "Please," “Thank you,” etc. - and your efforts will be much appreciated! Believe me, being able to speak just a little German will make your trip so much more authentic.

I’m a travel junkie a Master’s degree in German and I’ve been teaching both English and German professionally for the past five years. Regensburg is the sister city of my home town in the USA and it’s my favorite city in the world! I first visited Regensburg in 2007 and I have spent a total of about 2 1/2 years in the city since then, having visited it countless times both for short and long term (the longest being a year). Furthermore, I love to teach and I know what it’s like to be in a country where you don’t speak the language.

Dove ti troverai

We’ll meet at the “mushroom” in Schloss Emmeram Park. You can’t miss it - it’s a little coffee stand shaped shaped like a red and white mushroom. Then we’ll walk to a nearby café for our lesson.
